OK..he may be just cmp fodder..OR he could be an up and comer who may show something in a bit of time PSqd??? Obviiously they are thinking Branch may be a no-show and trung to add some bodies...Interesting report about him from his Sr year....(From NLScouting.cm)

"wide receiver KERON HENRY ran between 4.56 and 4.60 in the 40... 4.32 short shuttle... 7.48 three-cone... 34.5" vertical... 9'11" broad jump... weighed in at 6013, 218 pounds... a former quarterback who has shown good potential to become a possession-type receiver in the NFL... good strength... should also do well as a blocker and on special teams... "

A Givens type????

Let's not get carried away here!

Camp fodder. Nothing more at this point.

Not every player the Pats sign is gold. CAMP FODDER! He will be one of the first to get cut.

I dunno man. Keron.

Look at that.

Say it in your head.

Tightness is all about the dreads:

Keron

His tightness.

I'm sold! I didn't even know about the dreads.

Of course, a lot hinges on what number he's assigned.

I'm already sold on his name, too.
Keron! There's a winner.
Watch. End of Training camp.
He'll be there.
You heard it here first.

Seriously now, guys.

My first yawn was like Pats1's.

But Stan finds that he is a former quarterback.
Former QBs who are good enough athletes to make it at another position (classically, WR)
... are always interesting phenomena
and should be able to digest the playbook in good time.
Could be a Belichick player.

I am a UConn alumni and season ticket holder. I watched him play all four years at UConn. He was a run-first, pass-second qb when he came to UConn. His athleticism wowed people but he was not a great qb. He threw a tight ball but was not terribly accurate.

After switching to wr, he showed flashes but was never the threat he should have been. I firmly believe that if he had more than two years at wr, he would have been a lot better. You could see that he was inexperienced at wr as he was very mechanical when running routes and catching the ball. This cleared up a bit during his second year as a wr.

One thing that you always noticed was his speed and athleticism once he had the ball. He could outrun many players once he had the ball. I remember one play vs Rutgers (I think) when he made an amazing catch and had a very impressive run (including juking one player and then hurdling another) to win the game in the waning moments.

He may only be camp fodder (I expect it to be this way), but he is athletic and is still learning the position. Who knows what happens down the road. I wish him a ton of luck.

Your right, he does look pretty damn tight. I will give him a chance.

If he gets number 86 he will be tight.

Dave Thomas has #86...

But how did he look againts Temple?

Seriously he looks like the type of guy who could come on after a year on the PS. Every year there is one UDFA who turns heads and either makes the team or stays on the PS. Could this be the guy?

If he still has the dropsies that he showed at UConn, he is gone in the first round of cuts. If he is more consistent, as he was in his final few games, then he is likely to stick around for a while. That has always been the thing with him, "IF".
