He can still run as an independent obviously. Question is, how many votes will it take away from Biden? Also, wouldn't be surprised if Trump put him up to it...

Obviously, his “candidacy” is either a stunt to gain attention before he drops an album or he’s thinking it will help Trump. He’s missed deadlines to file as an independent candidate in NY, TX, NM, IN, ME and NC (102 electoral votes) and will probably miss the deadlines in FL, OK, MI and SC (61 electoral votes). So the numbers alone show he’s got no real shot.

The interesting thing is that if it is a strategy to help Trump, it might end of hurting. Kanye could actually pull in minority Trump voters who don’t like the appearance of ties to white supremacy. Those voters do not hold Dem beliefs anyway and may rebuff Trump’s inconsistent messaging. Blacks that are in the Biden camp aren’t suddenly going to toss aside their leanings just because it’s Yeezus.

And let’s be real, Jill Stein, Gary Johnson and Ross Perot were viable 3rd part candidates. Kanye is a mentally unstable sideshow with a history of doing things for publicity.

This is incredible. The Helmut Norpoth model suggests President Trump has a 91% chance of winning in November. They’ve correctly picked 24 out of 26 presidential elections since 1912... including 2016.
