Is it too early to start the Chase Winovich DROY talk?

A couple of years ago, I watched a rookie and just shook my head. "This kid's a pain in the ass. He just won't stop. He only has one speed: full speed. Offensive Linemen are gonna hate this kid, because anytime they relax a tiny bit, he's going to blow right by them."

He looked like he was just having a blast, and I just kept shaking my head.

That's who Winovich reminds me of: T.J. Watt.

Yes because he won't. He will do very well though. Not only are more talented defensive players than him being drafted but guys who are ready to have an instant impact where also drafted. As much as I like Chase and think he is ready to be productive day 1 he isn't going to be as productive Bosa year 1.

The Jets message board is going nuts over Winovich...

Winovich

"Every true jets fan knows that Winovich would have sucked here no matter how good he is with the pats. The end."

Those people have some real self esteem issues.

Been working day and night so haven’t had a chance to catch any of our preseason games but from the highlights it seems Chase is gonna be awesome as long as he stays healthy.
Guy is a hard worker and has a strong motor.

Shall see how things translate into the regular season.
