How many guys won't be back?

It would suck to on the Pats for a good year like this and not get invited back, but I'm sure there are several that won't.

I think any of the offensive FAs could not be back: Vereen, Ridley, Connolly, plus Hoomanawanui. Vereen is the most likely of the bunch to be back. I think Develin will be back.

On defense I want all 6 FAs back (Revis, McCourty, Ayers, Chung, Branch, Casillas), plus ERFA Sealver Siliga. That will take some work.

If I recall correctly there is usually about a 20% turnover of the roster from one year to the next.

So expect about ten new faces; it is what it is.

Mayo wont be back at the cap number he has. that money can go to signing three players from the potential FA

I think Ayers is a must keep at this point, as he's played REALLY well.

So cut mayo, move hightower inside, and have Ayers/Collins on the outside. then draft some rookie depth.

Branch would be nice to keep, mccourty and revis are almost MUST resigns.

all the offensive FA's could leave and not much would change imo.

Yeah we need depth there, but if we hit the Superbowl without Mayo, there's probably cheaper depth to be had. I hate to call Mayo "depth," but that's also the reality at this point. Maybe an offseason can change that, but I don't necessarily see it.

Mayo will be back, if pats cut him there is 6M in dead money.... say me if you can get another LB like Mayo with those 4M... good luck.
He is 28 years old, no way Pats cut him, i could see that scenario in 2016 when the dead money is just 2.5M and the 2015 extensions for Revis, Mccourty and more will increase the cap number.
