This was posted back in July '06.

At least some people recognized/appreciated Brady back then. As much as I dislike Shanahan (read Broncos), for obvious reasons, he has always praised BB. Even before the 1st super bowl run started. He had stated that BB was one the best coaches even before he won his 1st SB.

"There's always pressure on the veteran players, there's always more pressure on me," Brady said. "As I say that, I realize that if there is going to be pressure on someone, I want it on me. I don't want to leave it up to anybody else."

Brady also acknowledged he has spent more time at New England's practice facility this offseason. Mostly, he's interested in the parking spot reserved for the team's best player.

"I'm just trying to win that parking spot again," Brady said. "I've had a lock on that parking spot, and I'm not ready to give it up. I enjoy being here. I enjoy working out. I enjoy being here with the guys. I don't ever feel like I'm obligated to be here."

I can't seem to get enough good stories about TB or the Pats.

brady doesnt make bill, and bill doesnt make brady. they are of the same character, and it creates a two headed monster.
the fact that brady spends all his time at the facility, and prefers to be there than anywhere else, shows the same obsessive characteristic as bill. it is the key ingredient to winning trophies. you cannot have a home life, you cannot want a home life, you must truly want a football life.
