    The article speaks for me.

Has Tom Brady Spit In Face Of NFL Guidelines With Latest Instagram?

He never was that street smart. Trump wanted Ivanka to marry Tom. Then we would have had two "dumb as a brick" together, and maybe kids of the same to follow—just my opinion.

    Bye Bye Tom

    Welcome, Mr. Jarrett Ryan Stidham

    Go Pats

We have had too many unnecessary COVID-19 deaths in America; One more virus death is too many.

Thank God we finally have a thread where Sports Karens can congregate and caterwaul.

You think ivanka trump is dumb? I disagree, she seems smarter than any of my three wives: (all divorced me over sports and being a bad husband). I watched a video that was sent to me via email of nick berg being Be headed in Iraq, my second wife walks in the room and asked: “what are you watching”?
I said, they cut off a reporter guys head on video!
She said:”oh my god will he be ok”? I turned to look because I figured she was joking but she was not. I said no, he won’t be ok

I love Tom, he's a good man. he cares about his fellow man. I don't care about his political leanings, it's not like he pushes his political thoughts in peoples faces.

I'm sad he's gone, but grateful for what he gave us for 20 years, lifelong memories that I will never forget. Also, I've come to terms with his departure, came to terms 2 or 3 days after he left. He's the greatest of all time, that will always be linked to New England.

If Brady playing catch with a few receivers generates this kind of Covid panic vitriol, one must assume you strongly condemn the "peaceful" protests out there.

Be careful though. Anything short of tonguing the taints of the protesters may get you labelled a racist.

I don’t get the “Karens” reference. I saw her mentioned somewhere else, but I do not know the context. I must have been under my rock and missed it. If someone would elaborate, I’d appreciate it.

Also, we might have been wrong all along about Tom Brady’s political leanings. After all, he quotes only the greatest Democratic president of them all with FDRs “we have nothing to fear but fear itself” line.

Interestingly enough, the term "Karen", is a derogatory term towards someone who is outwardly racist. Like the women we've seen on video calling the cops on people of color who aren't doing anything wrong. "Sports Karens" is a new term.

The Karen term is not really about racism but more about entitlement (e.g. the people who call for a manager over some perceived ridiculous slight).

That being said often there is a nice intersection between that and racism.

This reply had very little to do with Tom Brady and more to do with making your opinion known about the protests.

Just based on pure volume of posts, the term "Sports Karens" would apply more to the people who complain about people expressing themselves with an opinion they disagree with. Like yours. As would the term "snowflake" so often used by internet tough guys who are simply shining a light on their own "snowflake-ness" when they use the label.

I'm glad only for football reasons. Obviously we would have never won 6 without him but now in 2020 it's time for the new generation. We weren't winning another one with him and nothing I saw last year suggests otherwise. A 79 passer rating in the second half of last season won't win titles very often in today's era. Locking out new receivers and anyone who weren't his binkies got tiresome and IMO hurt the team more than helped.

Anyway it's obvious Brady was always a different cat than most and this article is more evidence of that for sure. I mean this is a guy who calls his teammates and coaches "babe". Can't think of any other top star doing that. He has a mindset of his own and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Back to the topic of the original post. TB is greatest player to ever play for the patriots and I am so grateful we had him on Pats for 20 years and everything he has done for NE pro football.
BUT- I am glad he is gone now because:

    1) last year his attitude was terrible and I do not believe he was a supportive leader or team mate for the younger players. He was selfish, he put his own needs ahead of helping the team to gel

    2) He has really laid down a lot of vitriol on his way out at BB culminating with his statement today "Now football is fun again". Big diss against BB
Did he need to say this? He could have simply said- "I am having a great time on TB so far"

    3) He acted like a selfish dick by going against NFLPA recommendation to not workout in groups before training camp. An example of a new diva- selfish attitude

    4) On his exit instagram, intentionally left BB out of his thank you

    5) He has turned into a self absorbed arrogant narcissist with his Tom versus time series, 9 part ESPN series for next year

    6) His TB12 enterprise is complete medical bullshi*

He will no doubt have an amazing year (if its played) and he does not get injured. But he does not have the right attitude for a team that desperately needs to rebuild.

So, TB12 good luck this year (except against Pats)...but I am glad you are gone

Well said. I'm not sure that he's going to have that great of a year though. New team, coming off a down year, and he's 43.

I think he mentally gave up last year, because he knew he was leaving. Also, I agree with this statement by sb1 "Locking out new receivers and anyone who weren't his binkies got tiresome and IMO hurt the team more than helped". I think the offense is going to be interesting in that, Stidham has no binkies, he's going to hit the "open man" like the Brady of old.

This whole, the receivers have to gain Brady's trust situation is gone, and I won't miss that part.

I will miss EVERYTHING else that the Brady who bought in, brought to the franchise. Once he gave up, it all went to hell.

Did you ever hear of the old fable about the fox and the grapes? If not, type it into the old Google machine and give it a read. It's not long.
