Only 2 AFC teams are 2-0

This is big for the Pats. Only 2 teams are 2-0, and they’re both currently winning their divisions, meaning all of the teams slotted for “wild card” spots are 1-1. Pats are 1 game behind a playoff spot at most. They can beat the Jets, and many of the 1-1 teams they are behind right now in the AFC play each other this weekend. They can be in the middle of it all again very easily with a win this weekend.

Veteran outside CB help was a glaring need before the season even started. Pretty limited options at this point outside of the free agent trash heap. Should have acted months and months ago
Well.. like other parts of the roster.. we were counting on Jon who's on the other side of 30.. CBs typically don't get healthier at that age. Jack was available down the stretch last season and hence he's not available now.. 2 guys the team has invested in. What's up with Ameer speed? Can't he contribute?

If Jo Jones is healthy with Gonzo and Ja Jones, we do not have a "glaring need" at CB. OT is a glaring need.
I believe he's referring to the depth at OCB.. as we as fans are baring witness to seeing myles Bryant on the outside. Do you know anything on Ameer speed? His availability. However I agree with the Jones boys healthy we are in good shape. Hope Jon can play Sunday!

This is similar to last year where people complained about Bryant, but Bryant was only out there because of multiple injuries. In this case, they were missing Jack Jones, Jonathan Jones, and Marcus Jones. I don’t think many teams would succeed with their 5th corner playing against the other team’s WR2. Considering that, Bryant actually didn’t do too bad… Better than last year, at least a little.

Great post. The rookies can be frustrating. Gonzo was great. Hopefully Gonzo allows greater defensive flexibility in the 2nd half of the season. Need Jo and MA Jones back. Not going to win with Wade and Bryant.
And need to keep Douglas in there.

I don't remember the last time Week 3 had a "must win" game...

Ouch... together all through college until week 2 of the NFL.

Mac and Sophie are a cute couple. So is Bailey Zappe and his now fiance. Hope they stay together.
