I'm sure more will leak out but it looks like we're getting some insane stuff. Dance of the dragons was mentioned in season 509 i believe & will be an epic fight in the sky between the dragons reminiscent of the famous Targ battle from years ago.

Most interesting bit maybe in gots history is the info abt the WW. D&D have long alluded to & even said the have no language bc all they are is destruction. So it'll very interesting what comes of that. This is in my top 1-3 things i wanna see play it. Esp if it ties everything in to the pilot.

We're actually getting the Cleganebowl!!! Decades of speculation & its legit. It'll be epic of course. If you're a fan of the show this might be your fav moment. Its been teased since for decades. Rory is one of the best actors on the show & both are huge men by normal standards. Im so pumped & curious how it'll play out. I've long said the fight will be in a small location not some big fight in front of 1000 people. Idk but I'm curious if the Mountain is dead-dead & comes back & fights after the NK attacks KL or maybe Cersei is fleeing the city & everyone runs into each other in the backwoods?

We're getting 95-120 min epi's. Basically movie **** every week. S8 looks nasty. Every epi will be huge but I'm most interested in 3, 4 & 6. Miguel Sapochnik has directed some of the most memorable epi's in the history of TV & had more than double the normal budget he usually had to work with. I'm sure they'll be nuts.

I know they shot a "battle sequence" rivaled the Battle of the Bastards in terms of time & complexity. I'm sure Miguel will be directing it.

Supposedly Arya filmed a ton which is awesome. Massie is great imo & I love Arya. Would be surprised if she died.

Supposedly Mel was filming a lot more than last year as well which isn't much. There were spoilers out months back that she could have a big role to play by turning the dead against the NK. Who knows if its true?

I've long thought Dany was dying & would be surprised if either Jon or Dany makes it out alive. Emilia was "****ed up", her words, after reading/shoting the ending scenes for Dany & how she left her character.

Another thing i forgot to add, unbelievably i might say. It looks like we're not getting Nissa Nissa. At least not what most have thought of when/if it happens. It looks like Jon & Dany will be "fighting to the end together".

Lots & lots of Tyrion betrayal talk floating around for a few while now. Supposedly he has a trail in the dragonpit, which was a supposed to be a huge scene in S8.

Mostly coming from the frikidoctor but there's been a few hints beyond him.

    He points out
"I never bet against my family" never heard it in the show but in the books/GoT lore it's relevant. Maybe we get in the trail?

    April 21/28 Episode 801

    All longer than an hour

November 13, 2018: In an AMA with r/gameofthrones, David Nutter says that

    • "Season 8 episodes will all I think be longer than 60 minutes. They’ll be dancing around the bigger numbers, I know that for sure",
    • we "will see a direwolf in season 8", and
    • there is "no time travel in my episodes".
    • Source | Discussion
"Season 8 opens at Winterfell with an episode that contains plenty of callbacks to the show’s pilot. Instead of King Robert’s procession arriving, it’s Daenerys and her army."

GRRM confirmed what everyone has thought for decades. Jon is A. Targaryen/Azor Ahai. Which means he'll be stabbing Dany with his other sword.

I wonder if everyone will die save Sam, Gilly, Lil Sam, Bran? I have a feeling everyone is dying?

Also hope we get as many Arya reunions as we can. Jon, Sandor, Beric, Mel would be great. Jon & Sandor seem very likely.

One of the stars of Game of Thrones has revealed a huge detail about the eighth and final season.

With the HBO fantasy epic’s final six episodes set to be comprised of numerous showdowns, Vladimir Furdik – who plays the villainous Night King – has revealed when exactly the season’s biggest (and most costly) battle will take place.

Speaking to Hungarian website Sorozat Wiki, he seemed to confirm the battle the series has been building to since its very first episode in 2011 will arrive much earlier than anticipated.

“In the third part of the last season, there is a battle that the creators intend to be the biggest in television history,” Furdik said. “Almost the full episode will be about the battle, it will take about an hour.”

Much has been reported about this battle with sources calling it the show’s “biggest” sequence to date. It was completed after two and a half month’s worth of night shoots in Toome, the location used for Winterfell. According to reports, it’s the most expensive battle ever filmed for television.

The shoot doubled the record for the duration of any past battle sequence featured in the series. Many expected the showdown, which will see long-standing enemies unite to defeat the Night King’s army, to arrive toward the end of the season – however, Furdik’s revelation means the back half of the season will focus on the small case of the Iron Throne.

Co-executive producer Bryan Cogman described the episode as being about “...all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death.”

HBO executives have revealed that several main characters will die in the final few episodes of the series which will draw to a close with the eighth season.

HBO isn't done tinkering I'm sure but some french channels leaked the length of the episodes. Nothing shocking, more confirmation. Almost exactly the same length as S7.

    Episode 801: 60 minutes

    Episode 802: 60 minutes

    Episode 803: 80 minutes

    Episode 804: 80 minutes

    Episode 805: 80 minutes

    Episode 806: 80 minutes

The best battle scene in the show so far, IMO. BOTB is a close second and the Lannisters vs. Dothraki comes in third.

Agreed Kontra. Hardhome was something else. Honestly might be my fav epi. Jon was so good in it. Standing up to the Wildlings, organizing a group to fight & sending we he could to the boats.

I remember reading the spoilers for that scene & being so amped to see it play out. Hundreds of wights thtowing themselves off the cliff was incredible. The baby wights that just turned. WunWun & Edd. NK smooth walk & come at bro to Jon.

Im such a fanboy lol. I watch this show & go somewhere else completely.

**** you @reamer for ****ting on my feelings even though thats why I love you.

This show and Breaking Bad are the only two to ever make me explode out of my seat on a consistent basis. Only one time did that happen with TWD and that was the prison attack.

I have feeling we'll get a few of those this year. The action scenes, reunions & seasons/story coming together. Never been this excited.

Supposedly no NK for 801. Makes sense as it follows the big picture, no big plot movement. Two Swords & WIC are the best by a mile imo.

So basically reunions, big picture **** & then a sprint from 2-6. VF said 803 was the biggie so things will pick up quick after the premiere

If they were taking notes off of the Battle of Helms Deep from LoTR, then this action sequence should be even better than I thought it would be.
