If thats the case then its gonna be way off, yea. The only time ive seen deep dish anything like original chicago was in Orlando they had a giordanos which was decent. I had a ‘ginos east’ in Houston and it was garbage, as is unos anywhere other than Chicago

Actually I don't. My dad used to go get the pies and bring them home.

The other place we used to eat at was Twins in North Providence.

BTW, I grew up in Central Falls.

    Late 70's ... yep.
Grew up on Twins ... lived up the street ... good stuff.
Pawtucket House of Pizza was also great for a change up ... Greek pizza.

You lived near one of the best breakfast joints ever ... Magee's on Dexter Street.
Cook used to pour all the grease from the ham on the spigot into the baked beans pot.
The Shore dinner there was a 10+.

I HATE NY. I HATE the Yankees, and the Jets, the Giants, and the PEOPLE, and I LIVE here.

NY Pizza is better than Chicago pizza.

    This thread is cool.

Sox playoff thread was also cool. Not sure why one got banished and one lives at the top of page 1.

Guys name was Sam, a good friend of my fathers.
He ended up selling to a friend of mine who eventually went on to be mayor.

So can we pivot to arguing about Coney Island style dogs vs Chicago dogs vs RI NY System wieners? 5 all the way up the arm!

I've got to admit, I love a real Chicago dog when I want something with the works. Portello's or somewhere else. I've tried "authentic" Chicago dogs in NE and they didn't come close. Love Coney Island varieties with the traditional mustard, relish, onion toppings but man I love a real Chicago dog. Would take that over their Pizza any day.

P.S. Love an "Italian Beef" from there too...

Sounds like I'm putting together my tailgating menu :)
