I was there and it was amazing. My friends and I made a decision to get into the stadium earlier than usual (in seats by 8). As the players were on the field running their pre-game drills, the video boards zoomed in on BB who was walking through the player drills. The stadium was about ¾ full at the time and the entire crowd stood and cheered. BB made a point to walk towards all 4 sides of the field and wave to the supportive crowd.
Then during Defensive player introductions, the PA announcer did something I have never heard since being a season ticket holder (1994). He introduced the starting defense, and after all starters were introduced the announcer then in these exact words said “and now introducing the architect of the New England Patriots ……..BILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL BELLLLLLLL ICHICKKKKKKKKKK. I will never forget the reaction as the crowd absolutely exploded!
But I do love watching them....
