UFC, Mayweather discuss possible MMA move
lmao, Floyd would be submitted or knocked out by a flying kick to the head in 30 seconds.
I can't see any way he agrees to do it unless he's already broke (which is a legit possibility). He'd be on his back immediately getting his head caved in.
He probably goes through $100 million a week. At this point, he likely cares more about money than he does about his legacy or reputation. I'm sure he would gladly take a beating for another $100 mil.
Everyone was saying that McGregor/Mayweather in a boxing match would never happen either.
I sincerely hope he does. I'd love to watch that.
It's also going to be fun to watch the 30 for 30 that comes out in a decade or two when Mayweather is no longer a draw, is in bankruptcy, and is basically ******ed from all of the head shots he's absorbed accumulated over the course of his lifetime.
Are we sure he isn't there already?
There was a time when Floyd possessed Cat Like quickness. Not now.
For the life of me I can't see Mayweather fighting in a real mma match. I think this is some type of promotional thing.
Floyd doesn’t belong anywhere near an MMA cage, and Conor doesn’t belong in a boxing ring. Both guys need to stick to their respective sports. It was a cool one off thing, but I have no interest seeing a second fight.
Boxing real hot right now what some great fighters, and MMA (more specifically UFC) needs to regain control of their roster. If Conor not gonna defend anytime soon they should remove the LW belt from him and let Ferguson and winner of Khabib-Barbosa fight. Rockhold-Whittaker for the MW title is a great fight.
Boxing HW division is booming once again with Joshua, Wilder, Parker and Tyson Fury maybe getting back in the scene. No fight I want to see more than Canelo-GGG 2, and Lomachencko might be the best p4p fighter in the world right now.
End of the day neither sport needs these 2 hogging the limelight for themselves.
I was in Vegas for Canelo-GGG 1 and thought a riot was going to break out after that fight. Fun times.
I thought GGG won the fight, but honestly I didn’t have a problem with the draw. GGG never went off, while Canelo, especially in the first 2-3 rds/last 2 looked like the more active fighter.
End of the day, you have 2 f****n savages that have granite for chins and have never been knocked down, much less KO’d in their professional careers. Secondary nd fight will be even better. And the first one was good.
Separate names with a comma.
