A man should should shoot the gun and then go look at naked ladies and then smoke the cigar. This is what a man should do.

The original Da Ali G show (before the movies) is literally the funniest thing I have ever seen. Also loved SBC’s Who Is America last year. Guy is a true comedic genius.

Check out "The Spy" on Netflix. it's a dramatic miniseries based on an actual person. He steps away from his comic roots.

You know, it's weird... I could never hit anything with a handgun. Could never seem to figure out the bio-mechanics to make it work the way others could.

Ended up going to college on a rifle shooting scholarship, though.

Not many. Not sure of the exact number, but if I had to guess, I'd say 25-30.

Wow that's more than I would have thought. ROTC connection? And I assume, partial, like baseball?

My High School actually had a rifle range built into it because when it was constructed, there was a large, thriving ROTC program. By the time I joined the team, the ROTC program didn't exist, but the rifle team still did.

Most college teams have very little to do with ROTC. Around New England, it's probably 50/50 as to whether or not the high school teams are ROTC-affiliated or not.

I got a partial scholarship, yes. I think college teams are allowed to give 3.2 scholarships for rifle teams, and you need at least 4 shooters for a team event, so yeah... pretty much everyone who is on scholarship gets a partial scholarship.

Oh right, it will not get political at all. And what does it have to do with football?

The only person trying to make it political so far is you. It’s definitely possible for gun owners to talk about guns without getting into legislation. If you don’t like the thread, ignore it.
