When I spend a lot of time on a post, and some mod decides to move it into obscurity, what's the best way to find it and confirm that my time writing it was indeed wasted, and nobody actually responded?

First thing I do is look on the left hand side at the orange envelopes. The ones with a white arrow indicate that I've made a comment in those threads.

If that doesn't work then I find the easiest way to find the thread when I don't see it is to:

- click on my user name in the upper right hand corner, then
- click on either 'statistics' or 'show all statistics', then
- find all posts by (your user name)

Scroll down till you find that post and click on it, it brings you to that comment.

Statistics tab. Thanks! That's the counterintuitive point I was forgetting.
