The rule is that if a coach becomes a player, then his coaching salary gets added to the cap on top of his player salary.You could see the writing on the wall for Hoyer... Its why I brought him up in the original post of the thread...
And that is an interesting cap question... But since he's no longer a player, I think it would be ok to do so... But thats just a wild ass guess on my part
