Here are what some of the people at ESPN are projecting, they really are against the Sox but I like us being the underdog. ESPN experts: Who's going to win? - MLB - ESPN

My Projections:
ALDS: Red Sox over Angels in 4
ALDS: Twins over Yankees in 5
NLDS: Phillies over Rockies in 4
NLDS: Cardinals over Dodgers in 4

ALCS: Red Sox over Twins in 5
NLCS: Cardinals over Phillies in 6

WS: Red Sox over Cards in 6

These are my honest projections, not me just being a biased Sox fan

The "experts" always tend to just pick the favorites. I'm sticking to my preseason opinion that the Redsox are the team to beat in the playoffs. That doesn't mean they are unbeatable though. I just like their build better than all the other playoff team builds. They aren't perfect though, as the lineup could struggle against good pitching, and their #3 & #4 starters are question marks. That being said, if Beckett & Lester are on, they could carry the Sox like Schilling & Johnson did with the Diamondbacks in 2001. Regardless, I think there are some capable teams this year, in the Yankees, Angels, Sox, Phillies, and Cardinals. Each of these teams is well balanced, with solid front end pitching, capable pens, and good line ups. It should be a fun playoffs.

My predictions:

Yankees > Twins - 3-1

Redsox > Angels - 3-1

Cardinals > Dodgers - 3-1

Phillies > Rockies - 3-1

Second Round:

Redsox > Yankees - 4-2

Cardinals > Phillies - 4-2

World Series:

Redsox > Cardinals - 4-2

I think any team out of the Phillies, Redsox, Cardinals, Yankees, or Angels could win it all, but if I had to bet money, this is how I'd lay it out.
