Dont'a Hightower Appreciation thread

Jones is inconsistent - can be great but disappears for some games. Hightower is becoming dominant in EVERY game. That's my reasoning.

It's the nature of the position.
But based on just this year I agree HT is a more valuable player.

there were times last year where he was looking kind of rough, but I think all that experience helped him prepare when he was thrust into that role again this year. very happy to see him stepping up big time.

And, technically, the sky isn't blue at all, it just appears to be so due to the way sunlight interacts with our atmosphere.

Donta Hightower has been so freaking good this season. He should be in the mix for Pro Bowl and All-Pro at MLB. Has Wally Pipp'd Mayo.

FWIW, I disagree that Jones is inconsistent. He's been a bit inconsistent in staying on the field, but when he's out there he's consistently disruptive.

When healthy, I still think that Jones is the better player, but I'm very happy that Hightower has progressed to the point that there's a discussion to be had. He's becoming exactly the kind of player that you have to figure Belichick envisioned when he traded up for him.
