I hate to do this to you, but I believe you were already at your limit of 8 bets this week. Unfortunately, I cannot honor this 5k teaser bet. Gotta stay consistent as I know a couple others didn't bet tonight because they were already at 8 bets.

I took all that time to post the rules in Week 1, and nobody knows them!

In reality, every rule is in place to make running this thing less of a full time job. I seriously was considering one and done after the first season. If @venecol hadn't been here, there probably wouldn't have been more seasons. It was his idea to limit the bets this year, and it has been a life saver.

I would say the average number of bets per person is about 5. Some make 1 or 2, others make the full 8. With 35 players, that is about 175 bets per week to record and calculate. In past seasons, we had several degenerates who would make 20+ bets. I often went over 10 myself. I just can't handle 300 or more bets. Well, I could...I just don't want to. Calculating everything Tuesday is the worst. Generating the lines and other betting options on Wednesday is more fun but also time consuming. This is why I have the rules so hopefully the inmates will somewhat police themselves in the betting threads.

I just want to win a season soon so I can pull the plug on this whole thing and retire as Champion! LOL

Shouldn't that bet revert to a single legged six point teaser bet? I hit the over. The house and I tied on Browns +4. Shouldn't the payout be +50 or 12.5k and thus putting me at +17.5k for the week and rounding up my stack nicely?

No, a push on a teaser is a loss.

That's true for single bets. You get your money back (no bet) on a push ATS or O/U. But on a teaser you have to win all legs of the bet because you have the +6 pt Teaser advantage. It's nice to get the 6 pts but there's the added risk of having to win all legs of the bet.

Last few seasons there was also a 7 pt teaser which honestly was a better risk but paid out less. I can see why he canned that one.
