Let's see:

In the game yesterday, one team clinched everything and played like it, while the other was playing for its life. Even with that, it was a close game.

In the game in October, New England and San Diego were playing all out......How'd that turn out ?

Can't seem to remember the score though. 41-17 ?

Hmmmmm. And except for Harrison, that was before they all got hurt.

Lookin' good baby~!

Ian, can we ban this jackass already?

It's incredibly sad and annoying to read his act every day. Especially today, when he resorts to even more childish actions just to keep his self-esteem above choking level.

Corey Dillon was already a walking wounded and Kevin Faulk was out from the Pit game on, Duane Starks was playing injured (as he was all season long), Ty Poole was out, Randal Gay was out, Rodney Harrison was out, James Sanders was out. So the SD game was... before.... our injuries started? Are you serious?

We were missing over half of our DB corps by that game and we were already missing both Tedy Bruschi , Roman Phifer and Ted Johnson from last seasons ILB corps, so there was a TON of turnover and our defense wasn't ready for a great offense at that time. It still may not be, but I'd put more money on them being jelled up at this time of year than at week 4.

Don't throw your common football sense out the window just to make a point. It's foolhardy.

Yup. I heard that one this morning too. :D Did I see you at the game yesterday? Sitting up in the troll section?

I vote strongly for keeping Tony around, desptie his ever growing panic which causes him to lash out. Tony's in pain, people. He knows in his heart its not going to happen this time either. We shouldn't shun him - let's try to help him. He's a frightened little lamb.

Close game? The Colts got their asses handed to them. Edge had like 24 yards rushing and Manning was physically beat up.

They got beat, but they were right in it until then end of the fourth quarter. If Manning doesn't get the intentional grounding with about 3:00 to go in the game the Colts kick a field goal and take a 1 point lead. Did they get out played? Yes. Did they get it handed to them? Nope.

They were right in it only because Marty is a terrible coach and wasn't able to put them away. That game should have been a blowout at the end.

Only a Dolts would say the game was close. The only reason the Dolts came back was because during the 3rd Q San Diego players wanted to play Santa Claus. Any team (even the texans) will make a come back if you play as badly as San Diego played that 3rd Q.

Tony, from now on the Dolts will play for nothing, no record, no SB... Mark my words.

It only takes a couple minutes to change a game and win it. Just ask the Pats' fans about their first game against Buffalo.

you take away that 6 minute third qtr brain fart and hte Chargers win the game 26-0 The Chargers dominated the game for 54 minutes shutout hte colts for 3 qtrs.

When will the Colts and their fans ever learn (I hope never!)

It's not how you're playing in September and October. It's how you're playing down the home stretch.

The Colts are nothing more than today's version of what the KC Chiefs were a few years ago. Being "Mr. October" won Reggie Jackson a few rings in baseball, but it doesn't do squat in the NFL.

So go ahead, Tony Collins and Workhorse. Keep trying to calm your nerves with comparisons to how the Pats were struggling back in the first half of the season.

You're just swingin' at air.

Well said. And the highest complement to pay to you guys is: I hope we DON'T see you in the playoffs.

You Indy fans can say that the Colts didnt play as desperate as the Chargers did, but fact is when the Colts got the lead 17-16, instead of putting them away it was the Chargers who imposed their will and took the game back.

Uh, how many AFC Championships do you have? Right. How many Superbowls do you guys have? Right.

When you got nothing to brag about, why are you bragging?
