Yeah, how’d that work out for them, any idea?
Did I say that? If you posted around here at literally any other time, you'd know I've taken some applesauce dumps on feminism so me having a daughter would be apropos in that regard.
I am not a Biden fan, but this narrative that he has lost his fastball is fake news, pushed by you know who. He is fine. He has always been like this - besides, you compare him to our president and its not even a comparison - Trump has had 25 too many big macs
Yeah... that's clearly a guy who's all there in 2019-2020 with the amount of sexual harassment/assault accusations and scandals going around. Definitely has his fast ball.
I remember those years. That’s back when Bloomberg was still a Republican, wasn’t it?
I guess he prayed at the right time!
For those that don’t want it, good luck!
It ended at 1,255
You’re a kind man and I appreciate you
Well, what a day - Wegman's was only a certain number of people in the store at a time, people had masks on, but there was plenty of provisions to be had. I bought a lot of wine. My wife and I are secure in our work from home positions - today we did not do too much of the first grade schooling. I hope we can back on track tomorrow.
I need to give a presentation and having the kids home at the same time is a bit concerning.
Good news everybody... I just watched the Lotto drawing and as of right now, somebody on this board is now Acting Secretary of the Navy!
I always wanted a daughter. Had three boys. Turned out to be a wonderful thing but I still wonder what a girl child would have been like. As of right now, we have 6 grandchildren - 4 boys and 2 girls and I thought I’d be so thrilled to finally buy princess crowns and frilly dresses but it intimidates the hell out of me. I find I’m far more comfortable buying hot wheels and fire engines. So, basically, that’s what the girls get. And I make sure every one of the boys gets a rag doll and a tea set when they turn 2. That’s what I did for my son’s and my sons turned out to be wonderful fathers.
1.87M tests to date is 0.57% of the population 78 days after 1st case was announced.
Congrats, @captain insano!
As of right now, 1,845 new deaths today. If we ended yesterday at 1,255, Tue = about Monday and a half.
Y'awl know I am tracking the quintupling, which tends to happen over the course of a "week" - Saturday to Saturday, Sunday to Sunday, etc., actually 8 days. Sometimes it's been 6, sometimes more like 9. Quintupling.
We passed the last quintupling signpost last Saturday (7,500). We're presently on the way to 37,500. If the curve bends before then, hallelujah! If not... the next stop is 187,500.
I hope something great "just happens" that nobody is expecting. The main possibility is that all our distancing will show up dramatically in the death numbers.
A Republican, yes. Conservative? Hell no.
The images of a nice guy...
