My point was - there’s no such thing as “absolute and universal truth,” about an opinion. No one should get away with saying so. Not hearing about something, not talking about something, leads to that “something” being minimized or perhaps even forgotten. In some cases that may be good. In cases like an active pandemic, not so good. When things change daily, sometimes even hourly, it’s important to stay informed. When there’s a lot of chaff being thrown around with the wheat, it’s even more important to talk about it and sort through it. Besides, there’s not a person here who is incapable of speaking for themselves. I see no need for a self-appointed spokesperson. Disagreement is welcome, of course.
