Cousins: Happy Draft Day!
I like what Doug Keyed Did in the Patriots/ Dolphins swap; our 23rd in the 1st and 3rd Round 100th overall picks plus left guard Joe Thuney to the Miami Dolphins for their 26th in the 1st, 56th in the 2nd and 70th in the 3rd picks.
This year we cannot fool around with definite maybes we have to hit on at least half of these kids. They have to be able to take many snaps.

Let me expound upon that for your amusement or displeasure:
1st-#26 Josh Jones OT. U of Houston>Young athletic kid. Move him into LT and Wynn to LG if we lose Thuney. 6'7" 310 LBS fits the Pats OT mold
2nd-#56 Terrell Lewis OLB. Alabama> Has all the tools with speed and power. Injuries like Gronk in Round 2, decreased his value. Looking for another Collins.
3rd-#70 Antoine Winfield Jr. S. Minnesota>He is a playmaker and can return punts. He's all over the field. Rated in the top fifty. It might cost us a pick to get this kid. D Mac is not playing forever. This kid is a bigger Bob Sanders.
3rd-#87 Bradlee Anae-EDGE Utah>Purely the best pass rusher in the Senior Bowl. The kid has talent. Now put him opposite Winovitch. He can stand up some.
3rd-#98 Chase Claypool-TE/H back Notre Dame> He is a weapon with speed and size. A mismatch as your H back we haven't had since AH.
4th-#125 TRADE: O.J. Howard from Bucs
4th-#139 Logan Wilson LB Wyoming> Tough productive tackler. Captain. Former Saftey and can cover well. 6'2" 240 with speed
5th-#172 Van Jefferson WR Florida> Best route runner in the Draft. Some models show he will last until here. Hope so. Decent speed and size. Polished
6th-#195 Tyshun Render DE Middle Tenn.> BB personally worked this kid out in a rain storm. Who am I to say he's not a Pats type.
6th-#204 Tyler Bass K Georgia Southern> We all hope for the same long term success the Ghost brought
6th-#212 TRADE P.J Hall DT from Raiders PLUS a 2021 6th Round pick if he makes the roster. This kid went to a small school. The transition has been tough but he has the ability to disrupt.
6th-213 Tanner Muse OLB/S Clemson> Fast and was productive at Clemson. Team leader with INTs. Might be the Ebner replacement on ST.
7th -230 Darryl Williams G/C Mississippi State> Was traffic cop on their O line. Highly respected by TeamMates. Needs a little more strength.

Beautiful draft!

According to the trade chart, your offer for Howard a week ago was almost nine times the value of this offer.

Not selecting a true pass catching TE is a failure. Not drafting 2 is a mistake. They need to draft 2 pass catching TEs as well as an explosive WR.

Pairing claypool with Howard looks good to me for TEs next year. Certainly better than last year.
