Good old CHB .. always ready, willing and able to be the vulture when there are scraps in the street. Pretty pointed article based on allegations that Ortiz is on the list. Maybe he is on the list but WTF with CHB ... guy is the flea on the anus of a rat ... only 1/2 notch above Felger. Couldn't he have at least waited until there was more proof or an admission?

Guilt by media ... CHB is a piece of sh!t ... not like we didn't already know that of course.

David Ortiz lied to you. It seems safe to say that his entire Red Sox career is a lie.
That’s pretty much the best argument for Sox fans now.

Our cheaters were better than your cheaters.
The 2004 Red Sox really were Idiots. Just like the Yankees and everybody else.

Our cheaters were better than their cheaters.

I'm truly shocked that CHB would pile on like this. Uncharacteristic of him.

Pile on?

Is any amount of accountability too much?

There are no allegations that Ortiz is on the list. He confirmed himself that he is on it.

Reference please.

Theres also no evidence that it was steroids, which, BTW, weren't outlawed in MLB till 2004.

Actually MLB banned steroids in 1991. They began testing for it in 2004.

Ortiz quote is in every story today. Here's one of the million places you can find it:

"One, I have already contacted the Players Association to confirm if this report is true. I have just been told that the report is true. "

Sorry, I misread your original post. I thought you were saying he confirmed he'd taken something.

This is one of those things that everyone does...I am not saying steroids per say but I believe everyone takes something to keep there body going....Baseball is so demanding with the long schedule and short rest they need something to help there bodies recover quickly.....I wish they would just release all of the names so that every team can get bashed because there will be at least 1 player from every MLB team on it.....I wish that everyone would just accept that this stuff is as normal as chew with baseball and move on.

Something isn't outlawed if there's no punishment or means of determining who is doing it.

its like saying oral sex is illegal in texas. yeah, it is, but when's the last time someone got charged?
