My favorite non-series ending call has to be the end of the "leather sandwich" game. I was getting ready backstage listening to the radio with a kid while the audience for a show we were in was filing in. The young kid said something along the lines of, "Watch they're gonna come back and win!" I thought to myself, "Poor kid... Decades of Red Sox fandom had already broken my optimism and the same will happen to you." We ended up screaming so loudly that a bunch of people had to come in to shush us. We didn't care.

I still can't believe it, Joe. Thanks for the memories.
