The Patriots have a roster opening, and have tried out linebackers Tommy Hendricks and Mike Maslowski in recent weeks. Maslowski's agent, Joe Linta, hopes to reconnect with the Patriots next week. Linta also represents recently acquired offensive lineman Ross Tucker. Linta said Tucker, after three days of being a Patriot, told him, ''Joe, they really get it here.' "

I forget, is Hendricks the STs guru/former Michagan SS off the Jags? If so he sounds like what BB has been fretting/fuming about publicly. I know there was some interest on the board for Maslowski this summer.

I love that stuff.. more than anything, I just love hearing stuff like that. I remember when Dwight ranted and raved about our training program and the cafateria and such, and how it made him want to stay rather than go home at the end of the day. Can't tell you how much I love hearing that stuff.

There is something to be said about a very good work environment, perhaps this is a hidden factor as to why so many of these guys excel in this environment, when they didn't in another.
