Both music and sports talk.Well, I’m in Nashville and listen to WEEI daily. I hate country music and the sports talk radio here is terrible. I mean, terrible. So maybe I’m in the minority, but I enjoy it most of the time. 98.5 the hub on the other hand, wow, it’s like they HATE the Pats. I don’t listen to them.
Except for watching Boston sports teams live, there's literally no good reason to even own a TV.
That's Felger and squeakeys schtick. They're the worst, trolls getting paid, unbelievable, but they get ratings so someone's listening.Talk radio is supposed to get you riled up. Anger is addictive.
People who disagree light up the lines at the stations.
It's a con game, whether in politics or sports. It's anger-pornography, nothing more.
I'm not a country music fan here so I hear ya on that...but the wife is. Nashville is a great city.
Had a vacation over the summer and got to be friendly with a well-to-do couple from Nashville. Had drinks with him and such. He was a member of a CC down there. Forget the name. Anyway said Mike Fischer was the nicest guy you'd meet. Golf, have beers, Real down to earth guy.
Carrie Underwood.... c-word with a capital C. Snooty, stuck-up. Surprising how she grew up middle class.
Bedard gets hammered here but at least the guy has an educated and informed opinion and makes an effort to know the subject matter. I make fun of him all the time but I do respect his analysis even though I disagree with it 1/2 the time.I like Bedard, even when I disagree with him. But I listened to the same show and I can understand why the ban is back.

Yes, I have one in each of 3 vehicles and the app on my phone. If you're really a music fan, particularly of different genres as I am, it's really great. However, there is one downside that I've experienced - namely, after having subscribed for 10 plus years, I've found I'm addicted to it.Is it worth it? Just curious.

I've listened to NY, Chicago, Philly, & Boston sports podcasts through the years. Boston is by far the most negative. Everything is about the other team, and how much better they are. Felger and Mazz said they'd be shocked if this Patriots team lost by any less than 10 Sunday. Right. Because this team has shown a pattern of underachieving in the postseason. Not like they've won any SB's or anything. I was done with these jokers after ten minutes. Even fellow employees who have lived in the NE region talk about how negative everyone is toward their sports teams. I stopped listening to the clowns. This team deserves more respect than that.
Agree and they don't care It's all about the ratings...
I can.Red Sox win the WS on a Sunday night. That Monday Felger and Mazz spent the first hour talking about Kinsler's error in game 3. I couldn't believe it.
