avira anitivir

today my avira antivir keeps poping up with a viris when i move around here.
it says it's HTML/Infected.WebPage.Gen2 and i have never had it before from here. it's not doing damage and might be my computer but want to give a heads up just in case

Has it gone off since then? I haven't had any other reports and haven't run into anything on my end, and I've been on here lurking while not signed in, and I have avira installed on my notebook and it hasn't flagged.

Yeah Ian, I have it too at home and the same happened to me. I had to check the prevent access button and the remember this option button to make it stop. Some of your implanted ads are being read as a virus generator by antivir. Definitley a problem on your end.

Strange. I'll definitely look into it. I run Avira on mine and I'll see if I can have it happen here so I can pinpoint the issue.
