Third String But Playing on Special Teams
It was a really good movie during most scenes but, in my own opinion, I strongly feel like it was extremely rushed.

For a 3-hour run time, I honestly felt like the movie could have gone for a good half hour to tie things together better and tie up plot holes.

Yes, completely agree. I almost wish that would have done two Endgame movies, released 3-6 months apart, to really go through everything. Two 2 1/2 hour movies would have given them more time for things I wish were included (but don't want to spoil for people who haven't watched yet).

Thought, still really really enjoyed it. Incredibly enjoyable experience that didn't feel 3 hours long in the slightest.

Not a comic fanboy or Avengers fanboy... I've seen most of the marvel super hero movies with my kids... For a mid 40s guy without the time, or really the desire, to get "invested" in these movies like some people, I thought Endgame was good. The middle part was kinda boring, but the end was awesome...took my son tonight to see it...

I see there's another thread about GoThrones but I see people losing their minds after seeing both EndGame and Game of Thrones

I'm watching this movie again on a stream. And what I'm having trouble understanding is what did the Avengers do all that time in the 5 years that went by after killing Thanos in the opening 30 minutes?

Captain America went back to school to get his degree and the Black Widow opened a pizza shop with Hulk.

I thought it was good, but way overhyped. Went with my wife and daughter and we were bored during the 1st half.

Spoilers

I thought what they did with Thor was ridiculous. It was like Ben Stiller at the end of Dodgeball. They got to keep them somewhat true to character. Thor wouldn’t become a fat drunken frat boy.

Was disappointed we didn’t get a Hulk/Thanos rematch. In the last battle I can barely remember Hulk at all. Avengers without the Hulk kicking ass is kinda lame.

What was up with Capt. Marvels haircut?

I did like what they did with Capt. America. Him getting to pick up Thor’s hammer was cool. His battle with Thanos was well done. I liked that they let him go back in time and live a normal life.

I also liked Tony Stark’s arch. He makes the ultimate sacrifice, knowing he’s leaving his child. From the beginning, they made Stark the main figure in the franchise, even though in the comics he was a more secondary character. He was always gonna be the one to save the universe.

All in all a good, but not great movie. Boring 1st half and good 2nd half.

7/10
