Super Dave Osborn aka Funkhauser from Curb Your Enthusiasm also passed. Same age as Mean Gene.

    A sad day indeed

Would it have really killed Bill to give those 2 kids the high-5? I mean c'mon man.

I agree, but I don't necessarily think Bill is a good person. He cares about what he cares about and the rest of the world can go to hell. That includes small children hoping for a high 5.

I'm long past the days of caring about the character of our coach, I just want wins. So, the NFL equivalent of being a Trump supporter, I guess. Well, without the wins.

I find it interesting how he cheated on his wife left and right, works long hours but yet his kids followed him into coaching.

People in Weston who knew Debbie Belichick will say she was the nicest person and a fantastic mom.

Maybe he knows being a dooch to people creates a gravitational pull towards him.

    He might be right

In the WWFL, you have to stay in character.

Yeah idk. The whole infidelity thing really put me off thinking he's a good person.

Yup. Don't cheat, just leave. I don't know why that is so hard. The heart wants what the heart wants, just leave your existing goddamn relationship ffs.

My guess is that regardless of the situation currently, the Steelers were probably pretty happy to get a four time All Pro with a sixth round pick.

Yes, he plays a certain role and it would’ve looked weird as hell to see Bill high five those kids in that particular setting. I’d have to guess that he’d be a lot different away from the game action.

Yea if we could go back in time , i dont know what teans wouldnt gladly spend a 1st on him for 8 or 9 years of that kind of production because he ends up missing a game due to an altercation and was a distraction a great part of the final year. Guy is a dbag but from a football perspective he hasn’t created a whole lot of drama till early on this season.

Greg is a clown. Legit scout but just terrible at what he does.

He'll never live this down lol

They eat it anyway regardless if hes with the team or not.

The real question is do they want to pay him the the ~$36m remaining and realize the ~$16m in cap savings without him.

Yeah, he has just been the best receiver in football, arguably.
