...ok i understand
That didn’t last long. That will make the stay with the Bradys awkward.
I would assume he will be inactive this weekend and unless something surprising happens gone by next week (or earlier).
Whether he did or didn’t do it is a separate discussion that I dont want to get into on a internet board.
Gamer Bruh you are working yourself into a rich lather! Let's see:
-- I have not stated nor endorsed any statement of presumption of Antonio Brown's guilt. My likes in this thread are public. I have read his lawyer's statement and his emails that the accuser is using as evidence, and all signs currently point to him being extorted.
-- You jumped in to me disagreeing with someone that said that the MeToo movement had become a joke, and based on my disagreement with that, you made some untrue assumptions, which is exactly what you've been whining about in this thread. Not great, Bird! You even threw in a "You People" and a truly bizarre accusation that I would not care about Emmitt Till were I alive when his murder occurred. I'm not assuming accusation of racial bias, because I agree with you that making assumptions is bad! It would be pretty sloppy and stupid of me to make such a assumption.
-- You made a Kool-Aid joke, it was really bad. You stated that you were going to BREAK ME DOWN INTO ATOMS. That was lame. You failed in the endeavor that was breaking me into atoms. Your emotions over video games and the fates of people that you have never met caused you to post poorly. In fact, with the You People and Emmitt Till portion of the post, you were posting cringe. Post better in the future my gaming friend!
We can disagree about a single topic and it does not mean that we are on total opposite views on all issues. We are in agreement about Antonio Brown, as well as Emmitt Till.
If it’s a bs ploy to get money out of him I hope she ends up broke and in the streets.
Huh? Are you saying whether or not he’s guilty is irrelevant? Why would you come to an internet board just to say you don’t want to discuss it on an internet board?
Let's not play games. We know what "side of the fence" you are on here. You are only now clarifying and intimating a position, but your responses in the thread show that you are a listen and believe type, considering you wrongly assumed people were not using MeToo for personal gain. Next.
The hilarious part of this is that you're........assuming......... I am referring to RACE, when I am simply speaking about false accusations. Emmitt Till happened to be Black, and perhaps his murder was related to that fact, but in this same thread I am speaking about the man Zoe Quinn accused, a White male. This has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with false allegations. When I said "you people", I'm referring to the "listen and believe" types, AKA, SJWs. Look at you, crying about assumptions while making them. Tsk tsk.
Oh look, the butt of a joke doesn't think that joke was very good. How surprising. What's actually lame are your attempts to weasel out of a position after having been told what's what. Let's see, you lied about knowing the Zoe Quinn situation, lied about knowing what I was referring to, and are now resorting to "your jokes aren't good, waaah".
Anyway, like I said we're done here. Ignored.
And you came here just to say that? Ok
I don't know if it is the same case or not but Neymar (soccer player) was accused of rape and everybody was trashing him untill he proved (he was luck the girl recorded beating him - to sumarize she wanted him to slap him and leave bruises so she could say he forced her to have sex with him). I Really hope she have material evidences or go to jail even if it only a civil suits you are ruining his life. Football wise i think they should not give him any discipline till it is a criminal case.
And you selectively quoted only part of my post, ignoring the entire first part and don't understanding how it all fits together just to have something to do ? Ok.
The most interesting angle here to me is the timing of it all. Is this a recent civil suit that was brought in after he signed with the team or before ?
Because I wonder if Rosenhaus knew about it and didn't tell the team before signing. I am sure Brown had the usual language in his contract where he has to confirm there is nothing to his knowledge that could keep him from playing at the point of signing.
Now this is a civil suit so it might not apply but if the commish can theoretically put him on the exempt list over that who knows if the team could still go after his guarantees. If they can I can't wait for the next meltdown.
Either way the real damage would be the trust between Rosenhaus and the Pats if he knew and didn't say.
Never a boring day with this team.
Seems awfully convenient for this to come out the day after he officially signed with the team.
Unless there’s some form of video or physically evidence that leaks I’m gonna side with Brown on this one for now. Way too many instances of women falsely claiming athletes.
Antonio Brown is like a full moon. He’s got everyone on edge and turning on each other. James Devlin doesn’t bring out those emotions. Just saying.
Please, she filed a civil suit? 2 years after said incident and never filed a police report? And waited to file this civil suit until the day after brown gets signed by the Pats? Obviously it wasn’t rape, she doesn’t want police involved in any investigation she just wants some cash from brown to make her accusations go away in your standard shake down.
If the NFL preemptively prevents brown from playing due to a warrantless civil suit then they should be sued as well. 3 times having sex isn’t rape, that’s a consensual relationship
As I stated earlier, he will either be released by the Pats, or suspended by the league. Now that the league is investigating, it’s obvious he will be suspended.
This is hood rat drama at its finest!
Would not be surprised if they release him
Report: Patriots 'caught by surprise' by Antonio Brown rape accusation
For a civil suit????
Unless new information comes out and it becomes criminal than I can see it.
Right now it’s he said she said.
Everything you say makes sense, but three things come to mind.
1) The jealousy and hatred for this team have grown substantially since this weekend. I don’t find the odd timing of this suit to be anything of a coincidence.
2) The other 31 teams were already crying. Now, they actually have something to cry about. Between that kind of pressure and Goodell being a fraud, there’s lots of reasons for me to think that he’ll be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list.
3) We may as well have Kanye on the team. He can take over for Jack Easterbrook and perform his Sunday Services.
Separate names with a comma.
