It's too bad the 3 easier games are on the road but, regardless of location, we should be able to beat the Seahawks, Raiders and Bills; if we can't I won't feel bad for the Patriots because they'll have blown it.

Well put - as someone once said, "you are what your record says you are" - no sense in lamenting two close losses that would have us now 9-3, nor woud it make sense to lament not making the playoffs if they're not good enough to beat those teams.
