I most certainly hope we don't have to face him twice a year
No worries, he is always hurt and never lasts a whole season.

Yeah good point, he can play 14 games for my taste that's enoughNo worries, he is always hurt and never lasts a whole season.
I don't know if it is a ploy. I think Caserio wants to keep Watson. You gotta assume a big reason why he chose to go to the Texans after years of saying no to other teams is that he feels Watson is a QB that he can build a Super Bowl contender around. Why would he got to Houston and unload him unless the relationship is so toxic that it is irreparable. Not sure they are there yet.

They can just keep Watson. There is nothing saying they have to trade Watson. What is Watson's options if the Texans don't trade him? Sit out and cost himself millions and millions of dollars? This isn't a contract dispute where he thinks he is getting underpaid. He is getting paid top dollar and just is unhappy.
I've been thinking the same thing.I still think Hightower doesn't come back and decides to retire.
Are you surprised? He still hasn’t paid his debt? That’s low class.
I don’t believe it unless Gilmore is looking to set the bar in payI thought the idea was to bring in talent not unload it. What do I know.
Considering it appears they don't talk and the QB wants coaches hired for social justice; it can also be that everyone keeps the hype going and then someone bites.
$40M+ cap hits are another consideration. Caserio needs to be fully in tune where the cap is going because that type of hit most likely means a QB that can elevate a team to something probably north of 4-12.
A very high pick= drafting a QB.
Remember, the only thing better than having a very valuable asset is having an asset that everyone over values and will over pay to acquire.

This feels like a Gruden offer.
