Our defense did look like the eagles last year
296 points vs 295 and both got torched in the SB

Yeah, that game came down to the Patriots failing to make a stop that would have won the game (4th down) and the Eagles making a stop that won the game (strip sack). But neither defense did a damn thing all game, really.

There is no question about Jacob Hollister's catching ability...the real question is can he Block a fly this year?? I read he Bulked up some hope that helps.

Unfortunately when the patriots made their stop, at the -40 philly went for it in 4th down.

Like what I’m hearing so far...

Michel catching a bunch today.

For quite a while, I’ve been saying Michel is the perfect weapon for the Pats, and a great replacement for Lewis. He can do it all, run, catch, pass block, he’s explosive, elusive, and can run with power. He’s even been a return man (not a ton of experience with it, but he’s done it.

Still shocked we drafted him, the Pats have NEVER drafted my favorite player in the draft.

2nd of the day. Perhaps rain, perhaps carelessness?

Other than the fact philly had an nfl high 291 pressures, Gave up an nfl low 80 ypg rushing (to our 114), held opponents to 33% to our 40% on third down conversions, had 13 more turnovers forced then yes these 2 defenses looked similar last season.

The only things similar were scoring defense and team sacks. Philly was better everywhere else.

And that’s a testiment to how well brady and the oline played against Philly to keep their pressure at bay for as long as they did.
