This is a different scenario. What happens if Cam Newton isnt taken number 1? Who trades up? Who trades down? LETS DO THIS...

1. Panthers- Marcell Dareus DT Alabama
Panthers need a QB, but with Brees, Ryan, and Freeman in the same division, they need someone that can disrupt the pocket and ruin the QB-WR timing.

*TRADE*
Broncos trade #2 to Bengals for #4, #66, #101, 2012 2nd
2. Bengals- Cam Newton QB Auburn
Carson Palmer will most likely be traded or retiring, so they pull the trigger and grab Newton before Buffalo can grab him.

3. Bills- Von Miller OLB Texas A&M
Since Newton is off the board, the Bills still need to solidify their pass rush and Miller is just what the doctor ordered.

*TRADE*
Broncos trade #4 to 49ers for #7, #76, #108, 2012 6th
4. 49ers- Patrick Peterson CB LSU
In fear that Arizona will grab Peterson, they get anxious and decide to trade up to get him before anyone else could.

5. Cardinals- Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri
Cardinals have a lot of needs. They could of used a CB, but hes gone. could of used an OLB but hes gone, but they have a need at QB and Gabbert is their guy.

6. Browns- A.J. Green WR Georgia
Browns are very happy that Green fell to them. He will compliment McCoy nicely.

7. Broncos- Nick Fairley DT Auburn
Since the player they wanted was off the board at the start of the draft. The Broncos traded down twice and picked up the next best DT.

*TRADE*
Titans trade #8 to Rams for #14, #78, #112
8. Rams- Julio Jones WR Alabama
Julio Jones still on the board and in fear someone will take him, they trade up to get their man. Now Bradford has someone to throw to.

*TRADE*
Cowboys trade #9 to Lions for #13, #75
9. Lions- Prince Amukamara CB Nebraska
Lions biggest need is a CB. They trade up to get the 2nd best CB in the draft before the texans could snatch him up.

*TRADE*
Redskins trade #10 to PATRIOTS for #17, #60, #125
10. PATRIOTS- Robert Quinn DE/OLB UNC
Patriots biggest need is a pass rusher. They know that Quinn wouldn't be there much longer so they trade up to grab him. Finally, the Patriots have a pass rush.

11. Texans- Da'Quan Bowers DE Clemson
Texans changed over to a 3-4 due to Wade Phillips. They take Bowers early even though there is a big question mark on his knee.

12. Vikings- Cameron Jordan DE Cal
Vikings have a lot of needs, but they are high on Jordan and decide to take him before any team will.

13. Cowboys- Tyron Smith OT USC
Cowboys acquired picks and still got their man. They need him to protect Romo.

*TRADE*
Titans trade #14 to Chargers for #18, #82, #183
14. Chargers- J.J. Watt DE Wisconsin
Chargers traded up a few spots to grab the best 5-technique DE in the draft. Hes not a pure pass rusher, but one hell of a run stopper.

15. Dolphins- Mike Pouncey OG Florida
They need to protect Henne. They didnt have to trade up or down either.

16. Jaguars- Ryan Kerrigan DE Purdue
The Jaguars get a DE that can rush the passer and set the edge.

17. Redskins- Jake Locker QB Washington
The Redskins acquire picks and get their man.

18. Titans- Corey Liuget DT Illinois
They were planning on trading down to grab Locker, but it didnt fall through. They have another need and a great DT is still on the board.

19. Giants- Anthony Castonzo OT Boston College
The Giants need to upgrade their old Offensive Line and Castonzo is a start to a new beginning

20. Buccaneers- Jimmy Smith CB Colorado
Since they are releasing Talib. They need a CB. They take the best available CB.

*TRADE*
Chiefs trade #21, #118, #135 to Saints for #24, #88
Saints- Mark Ingram RB Alabama
I know, this is a why the hell would they do that trade. Saints need a RB and they acquire more late round picks since they dont have any.

22. Colts- Gabe Carimi OT Wisconsin
They need to protect Manning. They start fixing their offensive line.

23. Eagles- Aaron Williams CB Texas
Jimmy Smith is off the board and they need a CB that can replace Hobbs since he retired.

24. Chiefs- Aldon Smith OLB34 Missouri
Chiefs get a steal. They trade down and acquire Smith.

25. Seahawks- Derek Sherrod OT Mississippi State
The Seahawks wanted to trade down, but didnt have a trade partner. They decide to take the best available OT.

26. Ravens- Muhammed Wilkerson DE Temple
Ravens need to solidify their 3-4 Dline. They take a beast of Muhammed Wilkerson.

27. Falcons- Cameron Heyward DE Ohio State
Falcons could go for a WR here, but its to much of a reach. They take the next available DE in the draft.

*TRADE*
PATRIOTS trade #28 to Titans for #39, #82, #212
28. Titans- Christian Ponder QB Florida State

29. Bears- Nate Solder OT Colorado
The Bears need to protect Cutler. They take the best available OT in the draft.

30. Jets- Phil Taylor NT Baylor
Jets need a big guy in the middle. Jenkins is gone so they need a replacement.

31. Steelers- Danny Watkins OG Baylor
They need to protect Rapistberger!! The start on the inside.

32. Packers- Akeem Ayers OLB UCLA
Packers need an OLB that can compliment Metthews.

BONUS
#33. PATRIOTS- Adrian Clayborne DE Iowa
Another big need is a 34 DE and they get a steal with Clayborne dropping into the second round.

Nice effort.
My two cents: Everyone and their sister continues to assign Von Miller to Buffalo. Yes, he would fill a need....but....Buffalo was #32 against the run....and they signed Merriman to a 2 year contract with guaranteed money.
"1/1/2011: Signed a two-year, $10.5 million contract. The deal contains $5 million guaranteed, including a $1.5 million signing bonus and $1 million worth of first-year workout and reporting bonuses. $3 million of Merriman's second-year salary is guaranteed "with exception for injury." Another $8 million is available through incentives, although $1 million is considered "unlikely to be earned." 2011: $2.75 million, 2012: $4 million (+ $1 million roster bonus + $250,000 workout bonus), 2013: Free Agent"
I just don't see Buffalo ownership guaranteeing another sizeable contract at this skill position.
If I was Buffalo GM, I would make every attempt to trade back, grab a DT later in the 1st, and then look a Sheard, Ayers, Reed in the 2nd. Buffalo is hurting at ILB also.

As far as the Pats moving to #10...I've been told that BB and Washington have been speaking, but Wash. has been asking for too much... and the Quinn choice....I can't see this happening ....ever. Here's why:
Quinn stats are vs weak opposition
Quinn has very little track record to look at
Maturity issues....the D Coordinator at UNC said this....and said that his pro team would have to make efforts to assimilate him into the real world.
The panel that Reiss was on over the weekend that included Bruschi....all liked Quinn's talent....but later stated that the Patriots seek out a natural leader in the 1st round...someone to be that year's draft class captain.......No way Quinn is that guy

I'm not buying. I don't like how you used our resources.

You trade up to get a 43 OLB (17+60+125) passing on Bowers, Watt and Jordan.

You fail to trade up a couple of spots from 28 to get Heyward or Wilkerson, or even stay at 28 to draft Watkins.

You draft a 43 DE at 33. If Clayborn were really a 34 DE, then this is a great steal. But then if that were so, he might have been drafted before Heyward and Wilkerson.
