So I’ve been to two different get together last 2 weeks (I live in NJ) and whenever football comes up and they find out I’m a Pat fan - instead of discussing football and where Brady will go next - it’s all about cheating, how we are such a low class organization for so many cheating scandals...
to release it while playoffs and super bowl was going on - I feel wasn’t a great idea. Was a distraction and too much attention on TB12 (like he didn’t have enough of it). And for us fans....I was more focused on Pats winning versus watching Toms personal life. It was very Un Tom like to release...
Lot of discussion on sports talk about Romo and his predictions of Patriots offensive plays. Does that help Mcveigh in preparation for the SB...he can goto the tape and see what Romo said regarding Brady’s tendencies of what play will be coming up. Is Romo spilling the beans of what he sees in...
I know it’s great to be 14-2 and get HFA but at times I don’t mind being 9-5 and have to fight for the last two games.
#1) We go a little under the radar.
#2) Expectations are much more tempered from fans and haters,
#3) makes us more appreciative of what the Pats have accomplished and that...
I believe he didn’t shake hands yesterday with Foles. Is it true that in all the 3 SB losses he didn’t shake the opposing QBs hand? I love Brady to death but wanted to know if this is true and if so.....why doesn’t he?
they started the show with the topic if Pats cheating changes their legacy. I mean - come on man. Boomer did say that he never believed they cheated and Ray Lewis also said that it doesn’t matter - they were always the best team.
What bugs me is they still discuss it as a main story instead...
to have 4SB total in the TB/BB era including 19-0 or 6SB (not including 19-0 ofcourse) but includes 2 more SB and the 28-3 all time comeback. I think 6SB total might just overtake the 4SB even though 19-0 is going into all time immortality.
Everyone talks about MJ and JMontana not having lost in the finals which is a stupid argument in my opinion.
But having 3SB losses will be red meat for those that wouldn’t want to consider Brady as the ultimate winner.
My kids proudly wore their Brady and Pats jerseys in school today (live in NJ...belly of the beast) and they got the typical cheating nonsense from fellow students and even from teachers. Quite sickening. My daughter actually came to me to ask me on how to respond to her math teacher who was...
Is this the best chance we have had in a while to win the SB? Last year was a tough road and we won but this year - our traditional rivals don't seem to be that strong and the biggest threat I foresee is from the Steelers but playing at home - gives us the advantage. I know it's looking way...
So the women's final at Wimbledon starting and discussion whether Serena was the greatest athlete currently. The panel gave their top athletes. LeBron, Phelps, Usain Bolt, Some woman kick boxer, UConn basketball team. Of course no one mentioned Brady. Useless ESPN analysts. I was surprised...
It's in the beginning. Both Costas and Patrick bring up Lebron, Serena Williams, Tiger, etc and Brady. They say his name twice without referring to Stupidgate....They even bring up Manning (I was about to have a fit) but then prefaced it by saying only for reg season :). Honestly feel...
To me - that's the worst. People might have forgotten this deflatecrap by then but it will come up time and time again during the draft.
I'll be walking my dog to take a crap that day. Definitely a better option.
so at work I have colleagues who jest about deflategate. They say "I need some chocolate, feeling deflated" , etc.
I did shut them up using logic and they know for the most part it's a farce but still wanted to have some good, short one liners to counter deflategate jokes/accusations.
Sorry...
