My take on the video stuff

The NFL's memo came out in September of 2006, not 2007. The league had not enforced that rule for an ENTIRE FULL SEASON. IMO, BB had no reason to think it would be enforced in 2007 either.

Keep your eyes on the Refs today

I don't believe the Refs have any hidden agenda. It is simply up to the Pats to win by a big enough margin that no one or two calls can change the outcome.

Biggest game in sports history tonight?

IMO, THIS IS THE BIGGEST GAME IN SPORTS HISTORY PERIOD !!! Go Special Teams!! Go Defense!! Go Offense!! Go Tom Brady!! Go Bill Belichick!! Go Robert Kraft!! GO PATRIOTS !!!

    Giants overconfident

I, like some on this board, had little respect for the Giants and Tom Coughlin. Through most of the year, they didn't exactly light it up. But week 17 changed it all for me. TC had the balls to go for it, when it didn't mean anything. It was counter-intuitive, but it paid great respect to...

Props to Mike Reiss interviewed by Adam Shefter

Mike Reiss is excellent, in print, on the net, and on TV! His TV demeanor is great; a very positive personality, but always backed up with facts. He really does his homework and his hunches and insights are first class. During the videotape infraction incident, he's the only reporter...

Joe Montana vs. Tom Brady Statistically

I think Brady has already passed Montana as the greatest QB ever. But even if he hasn't, he's only 30! His best years are probably ahead of him! Projecting forward, his numbers are actually scary. Not bad for a sixth round skinny kid! :)

Peyton Manning vs Tom Brady Lifetime Postseason Stats

Note that Goober#2 (3 wins, 2 losses) has a higher post season winning percentage than Goober#1. Of course, they'll be tied at .500 after SB42 :)

    Brady - sick yesterday?

I'm thinkin' maybe Giselle wore him out Sunday morining! :D

What I really want to see today

A win with no injuries is enough. A throat stomping would be even more fun.

Rivers, Gates DOUBTFUL; LT will play

Exactly! It's not about SD, it's about us. BB has his team prepared and motivated to play against ANY Charger, regardless of depth chart position. Guaranteed they are ready for Rivers AND Volek. They are probably prepared to play against Norv Turner, if he activated himself! :) :)

How bad do opposing fans wanna see the Patriots lose?

I, for one, believe in Tom Brady and Bill Belichick! :)

After Belichick who is worthy of a top 5 ranking of NFL head coach

BB way above everyone. Best coach of all time, no one close. Jeff Fisher Tony Dungy John Gruden Bill Cowher (assuming he'll be back) Romeo Crennel

    Maroney Will Outrush Tomlinson 2:1

Should be a great game! LM was sparingly used during the early part of the season, which was aggravated when SM went to the IR. Now he appears to be rested, healthy, and hungry. Just when we need our best game, the Pats O appears more balanced than anytime this season. The O line is playing...

BB is making DAMN sure that this team is FOCUSED.

Speaking of Rodney, I'm feelin' a lot better this year with him healthy for the playoffs. These last two years without him were pure anguish!

OT: A Colt's Fan Perspective On This Season

I agree 100% with you. It's definitely not a fluke. That's what I love about the NFL; it takes an entire organization to get you into the playoffs. To go deep into the playoffs is terrific. To win it all is incredibly difficult! To consistently field a playoff team in the salary cap era is...

    Chargers did Colts a favor

It's all hypothetical of course. Who really knows, except that BB would NOT call off the dogs for any reason. :) :)

Albert Breer DMN Blog: Brady defends Romo

And also, the Giants had a little something to do with it.

Can we stop with this "Choking" nonsense?

IMO Peyton is an excellent QB and he played 55 good minutes. But in the playoffs, at home, indoors, down by 4 points, he had first and goal and came away empty on four tries. Then, his defense gave him A SECOND opportunity with enough time to pull it out, and he came up empty again. IMO, some...
