Matt Ryan will dictate the Patriots draft

This whole year when I watched college football I thought Woodson and Ryan were practically the same guy. Sure Woodson's release is weird. But they both hold the ball too long. Both had average talent around them. Both have a great arm. Both are more of a prototypical QB. And as far as I...

    DraftTek seven round draft

I looked up OLB Erin Henderson (Maryland) because I knew little about him. I still don't know much about him. Scout.com has him going from 210 pounds from his senior year of HS to 245 pounds in his junior year of college. I wouldn't know if that is common for LBs or not. He has suffored an...

    DraftTek seven round draft

There's an update on the Round 1 page that says they are still tinkering with their computer model. I'll shoot them an email to let them know their Patriots Needs are incorrect anyway. I like the Forsett pick in the 6th. The dude is only 5'7" but he has huge hands! Like 10.5" hands! Can you...

Pats picks in first 2 rounds

Yeah, no need to move up with such a deep group of CBs. Most are seniors which is a plus. Experience is something BB apparently likes. If BB wants a CB, or even DB, he can get a good one without losing value in the process.

    Antoine Cason

Crappy timing for Jack. I like Cason but there will be a lot of starter quality CBs at the end of round 2.

    Dan Connor

Has any scouting report mentioned if he can shed blocks and move through trash?

If you had to pick someone at #7 right now....

Gholston. If Jake Long and Gholston are gone then we should take the best QB available. Use him as trade bait. Don't even talk to anyone about trades before hand..........and then BOOM! NE Patriots select Andre Woodson from UK. Then just sit back and wait for the phone to ring.

WR v. DB video from Senior Bowl

I still like Rogers-Cromartie. That DJ Wolfe guy looked good. Chevis Jackson was good too. Limas Sweed is gonna be awesome at WR. Great name, great game.

Name me 2 Giants who could start for the Pats

Maroney would start over Jacobs. On either team.

......grand on if they were playing the Giants in the SB. The worst AFC team that I would bet on would be the.....Houston Texans!

Giants: More like '85 Patriots or '05 Steelers?

These Giants wouldn't beat this years Browns in the SB had they the opportunity. The Browns would score 31+ and I believe Romeo would come up with a way to slow down that Juggernaut offense Eli leads. All the AFC playoff teams would beat these Giants as well. Seriously. Who would they be...

Name me 2 Giants who could start for the Pats

I'm sure some of the Giants OL could start on the Pats right side. Some have said Burress over Dante but I like having a real speed guy opposite Moss that the defense really has to watch. With Plaxico our offense would be slower. It might be better. Would Plax be able to handle Moss and...

Why the Giants have virtually no shot to win the Super Bowl

When I quoted Watson's IQ "Therefore, there is no historical precedent for a team as average as the Giants on both offense and defense over the course of a season winning the Super Bowl." I was thinking about the historical precedent of a team like this years Giants even making the SB let...

Why the Giants have virtually no shot to win the Super Bowl

The Giants are very lucky to be in the SB. But we knew that anyway. This whole thread is about 'historical precedent' giving the Giants bad odds to win the SB. I disagree with the OP's reasoning.

Why the Giants have virtually no shot to win the Super Bowl

Yes. We wrote the same thing general idea.

Why the Giants have virtually no shot to win the Super Bowl

I am restating my point that there is no 0-37 trend. There is an 8-37 trend for teams that have only one top ten in offense or defense(OP stat). There is a 0-1 trend for teams that have neither a top ten offense or defense.

Why the Giants have virtually no shot to win the Super Bowl

1979 Los Angeles Rams Scored 323 points (20.2/g), 15th of 28 in the NFL. Allowed 309 points (19.3/g), 11th. That's it. That's the only time, other than SB XLII, that a team has even played in a SB when ranked lower than 10th in both offense and defense with regard to scoring since the merger...

    Which game had worse refereeing?

Very bad officiating. But it was both ways a lot. Like calling Wayne out at the two yard line, forcing the challenge. There was a ref ten feet away. If live play is too fast for these refs then we need robots or something. Colts oline held a lot on pass plays with no calls. Both...

    Owen Schmitt FB West Virginia

The dude is crazy. After he shanked a punt for like 10 or 15 yards he went to the sidelines, took his helmet off and slammed it into his forehead several times. Yeah, I know. Why was he punting? Ask the new Michigan head football coach. He reminds me of the roid rage guy from The Program.
