Why do you hate the Colts?

Who do you root for tonight? Miami or Indianapolis?

34-31 never root for the Colts

I'm here for Colts and Pats week

I'd say the Pats are playing to the whistle. It fits the personality of the coach. I expect them to play to the whistle again this week.

I'm here for Colts and Pats week

Once again bonehead penalties extended a key drive for the Colts opponent. I'm getting confused on whether I'm watching the Cowboys or the Colts. After the Pats no penalty effort this weekend, we can see who's more ready to play.

    Patriots 2008 Mantra: "Finish"

"and a great theme for the season!" Wasn't that the theme last season? I thought last season was about not finishing the prior season's AFCCG.

How much longer in the Brady era?

I think the length of time he plays will be dependent upon the length of time the head coach stays. I could see them leaving together.

When will Samson and the Hoosiers be labeled "cheaters"?

Of course Sampson is a cheater. He deliberately broke the rules regarding his sanctions from prior cheating. Are you sure you want to equate the Pats taping with Sampson's behavior?

    4 layers of disaffection

I understand your feeling. Your four points are symptoms of the season in my view. Once the team was penalized after that first week, the team took on the mantle of aggrieved and disrespected. They drew together tight as a team in reaction. They seemed to make it their mission to pay it all...

How much of a hit has the legacy of Brady and BB taken b/o Super Bowl 42?

I run with the view of Jason Whitlock as the proper one. I don't know how much more anyone could expect from Brady. With all the "protection issues", no picks. The only hit to the legacy is that he no longer can be matched with Bradshaw and Montana as having multiple wins with no defeats.

Patriots getting more vulnerable in playoffs past 3 years

Wasn't that the point of pushing the 60 minute mantra all year? I think the team did a good job of addressing that issue this year. The team knew what they had to do; yesterday they just couldn't do it.

So Dungy says game this Sunday is not important

You're exactly right. Last year the Pats lost to the Jets after the Indy loss. If they had won that game, the AFCCG would have been at home.

Dallas showed me more than I expected

What the Cowboys showed me was a complete lack of discipline. You can't compete at the highest level and have that many penalties. It's no wonder Parcells quit.

    Cato June signs with Bucs

In my opinion the biggest contributing factor to the great playoff production of both Colt backs was the dink and dunk offense they used in the playoffs. This wore out all four teams they played and therefore made Rhodes a highly compensated free agent. Ron Dayne would have put up the same...
