Special teams will be a big factor in this game. I tend to focus more on the coverage side of special teams. Had we not let Hixon return the kickoff to the house in the first game the Pats would have won by double digits. If we can limit the return yardage of the Giants I think they will have...
If they could find him a pair of hands he would be awesome. He's probably the most athletic player on the team, he just needs to learn how to harness his ability.
On a side note he missed a backside block on Phillips sometime in the second half (i believe) which cost Maroney an extra ten...
Nervous because this team is this best ever and the thought of a loss is absolutley devastating. I think they will be fine but being nervous is what makes us fans.
I agree the Pats passing attack definatley poses the bigger problem for the Jags. I just think the D Line looks very capable of putting pressure on Brady and that is a concern.
Despite what your hog index says that doesn't do the Pats any good on Saturday night. Right?
Not all defenses are the same. Some are built with speed thus having better ability to stop smaller quicker backs while struggling against big power backs.
"wait wouldn't any defense have...
It seems like most people on here are really confident about the game this week as am I. However, their defensive line looked scary. It seemed that everyone along the front could rush the passer. They can get to the qb without blitzing often which is a problem. Is Henderson going to be...
I am not super high on Meriweather right now either but had he not taken off his helmet and smashed that FIU player with it, he would have been at least top 15.
As i think about the Giants there attacking Defense does provide some conern and then i remember that Eli is their QB. That guy really sucks. I didn't really think he was that good at Ole' Miss. Also, I think Jacobs is good but the Pats always seem to do well against power backs.
I think the field turf is cheesey enough. I would cry if the Pats end up playing under a roof someday. Knowing thats not possible for many many years is a positive.
Maroney is fine! Just play him more BB. I think BB will try to get the ball in his hands more because he can make plays. He will be a huge playmaker down the stretch.
Faulk starts and stops both lateralley and forward much slower than Maroney. How does that make him quicker? As I have said before Faulk is a good player but Maroney is on another planet in terms of athleticism. Maroney makes lightning quick cuts while Faulk relies on perfectly blocked plays...
I hope everyone remains high on him because he was a top draft pick with plenty of talent.
I agree the Cooley play was dissapointing but he was coming into a game late and wasn't up to the speed at which it was being played. Still a cheap excuse but i'm sure if he were to do it over again...
