Anthony Pleasant, who was out of coaching last year after three seasons with KC. Kansas City Chiefs: Anthony Pleasant He was an awesome vet presence with Pats DL from 2001-2003.
From USA Today 7/10/2013....maybe Curran should do some good old research and went out there like Kevin Manahan from USA TODAY Sports instead of speculating. I guess speculating gets more clicks and views:
Aaron Hernandez's 'flop house' neighbors never saw red flags
Also think Bolden has a better chance to make it over Blount, if healthy. He's a better inside runner and he can play special teams. Gives you a lot more overall than Blount. Bolden also has better hands and although he could use improvement, he's a better blocker than Blount.
People are simply writing off Donald Jones much too quickly. We all know what he did w/Bills, esp vs Pats. He has speed, which this team needs outside, he ran complicated routes & schemes dating back to his college & JUCO days, sight-adjustments, spread offense & no huddle. Seems like a fit...
It was confirmed by multiple reporters that #84 out there was indeed Schillens. As far as Collie is concerned I heard Polian discussing his situation on Sirius and he was saying this situation is clearly a case of the media not understanding it and rather focusing on the violent hit. He's had 3...
It seems pretty clear Pats weren't happy with how Love finished season, especially considering the guy starting over him at the end of the season was also cut. It may just be a message, be ready to go when you get to camp or you will be going out the door.
This is why I think Deadrick & Love are no longer with Pats:

Opportunity to send a message, can only do that with contributing players not end of the roster guys.
Tyrone Green is a great replacement for Donald Thomas and Pats didn't have to shell out 4 yrs & $14 mil either. Thomas has appeared in 43 games and made 21 starts, Green 41 and 28 starts. Similar players in that they both have some physical liabilities but they get the job done. Just like...
Teams set their own boards for their team/scheme. I don't believe the Pats feel they reached for him, according to their board he was a 3rd Rd pick. S was not a "need" so it seems they wanted the player & felt someone else could take him. Cosell tweeted he thinks "Harmon is smart w/excellent...
I love Wheaton as well and no health concerns like with Woods (ankles) & Allen (knee). Kid can fly and is a good route runner, he's tough, and has solid hands. Don't get me wrong I think Woods & Allen will be good players but there is an inj history to consider.
Good read on Wheaton...
I think they'll be a run on DB's in Rd 2 so Pats will have to move up in order to get one or another position. My feeling is that we will see WR and CB and maybe even two WR's in day two.
Taylor, Slay, Hankins, Wheaton, Woods or Allen but I do think Pats have ammo to move up if they desire a specific player. I like Carradine but due to inj I think he's still there at 59 and maybe even 83.
