Less than 50 stay in the NFL for what, 10 years?
50 players, 32 teams, 1600 guys. If average career is 5 years, then 300 new guys a year come into the league.
Not all are drafted, but still, most draft picks need to hang around a few years.
The draft was an abomination.
What's in it? I hope so, if yours isn't, mine won't be either.
No crystal ball, but has Cassel ever done anything to make you think this guy is a legitimate NFL QB? A college QB?
I think he has pictures of BB.
Sad to say, I pretty much agree.
JAG RBs have proven to be better than Maroney. Although I wonder why they don't screen pass to him more.
Jackson is a heartbreaker. Just too immature I guess.
Seymour I don't know about. I guess the fire has died and old age crept in. Sad though.
This just can't be real.
although the stats after 2 or 3 games MIGHT be somewhat similar, the level of play isn't.
Brady was a college hero who showed poise and ability leading his team from behind.
Cassel last started in HS and just isn't very good.
I don't like to throw the word...
I think his point was excellent.
Cassel sucks and BB is stuborn. Jeff Garcia was mentioned, accurate as hell, he'd be great! Anyone would. Cassel coudln't QB a division 1 school, probably not even division 2.
He sucks. Quit being delusional.
Yeah, and they'd lose in the first round.
Season doesn't end today though.
Might as well use it as a rebuilding year. Get the rookies and young players some practice time. What is to lose? They get the crap beat out of them by Miami at home so who cares at this point, right?
What's up with that pic? Is that Cassel? It's supposed to make him look cool...like he's strategizing or something. Planning something big. But it doesn't work, cause he sucks. So it just makes him look idiotic.
Admirable sentiments about the pats not being done. But they're done.
Why Seymour? He should be hiding his head in shame.
He's no good. Certainly not $10M good.
How about some performance? How about some sacks? How about not giving Pennington 10 seconds to throw?
I only mock sometimes, and it's out of love.
I did like Eckel, I thought he was very underrated and didn't get enough of a chance. I'm surprised they cut him so early, maybe they were hoping he'd catch on with another team.
Light is out and he wasn't that good when he was in. Kaczur is on drugs apparently and Neal is out at least for a while (maybe for good if his shoulder is messed up).
Britt was supposed to be really good in college but apparently they're underwhelmed.
A decent line is kind of mandatory...
Re: Ty Law wants starters salary of $5M to $6M
He'll get nothing and like it.
Hopefully the Pats cast him aside...although BB does have a weak spot for aging, fragile veterans. Duane Starks says hello.
How many times does Casey have to strike out before we say the emperor has no clothes?
It's fine to question and even criticize.
BB's a good coach but even the best gunslingers run out of bullets. It happens. A bad draft or two, bad personnel decisions (and I don't mean getting rid of Samuel or Branch), just stuff happens, as they say.
Get over it. It's going to be a...
Yup, he's a good coach. But even good coaches make bad personnel decisions, run out of talent, have bad drafts, and basically just have holes all over their team from time to time.
The jig is up...this year looks ugly. Time to get some hobbies for those long Sunday afternoons...after all...
Pats play a hideously boring game and lose. Not sure if Brady starts, if he does he comes out after a quarter with a sprained foot.
The defense is atrocious and gets picked apart.
Yes, I'm a little bit of a negative Nancy, but that's what I thinik.
