Jim Rome talking about Bill Belichick:
"Bill Belichick can make a very good NFL quarterback look very, very bad and a very young quarterback look like he doesn't belong in the NFL."
Not always a big fan of Rome...but that is funny....and dead on accurate.
I realize with the Patriots at 9-2 and tied for first in the NFL...we shouldn't have much to complain about....But this group of Patriots might be the toughest team...Physically and mentally I have ever seen.
I keep going over and over the schedule and tried to make sense of what appears to...
First of all, this is not Bashing Mark Sanchez because he plays for the Jets...for the most part, he is an exciting player...Good scrambler, throws on the run, decent arm, very energetic, etc, etc....
However....
His stats from Monday nights game were very typical of last year and although...
Really Charlie??
Your going to tell the NFL fans what the Patriots are going to do next year regarding Welker and Edelman?
Did you not hear what Belichick had to say about you this week?
Good for you Charlie....Keep talking.

NEW YORK -- NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has followed up his suspension of a Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback by re-emphasizing safety issues...
Lets say that Cassel plays great sunday, but we lose...........
He puts up solid numbers...something along the lines of 16 for 28 for 190 yards with 2 TD's and 1 INT.....Looks solid all day, but the INT comes on the last drive of the game.....
Or
He has a poor game, but we win and...
Not sure if this has hit PatsFans.com yet, but just heard rumor that the Patriots have contacted Drew Bledsoe and asked him to take a physical. Bledsoe has not given an answer yet, but is considering it.

ST. LOUIS -- **** Vermeil, who coached the St. Louis Rams to their first Super Bowl championship in 2000, doubts dirty tricks prevented the franchise from winning it all again under Mike Martz in 2002.
Vermeil, in a telephone...
I've got to get this off my chest.....
As I would guess with 95% of all Patriot fans did, as soon as the Brady threw incomplete on 4th down, I couldn't look at the TV screen. Could not watch another crushing defeat that didn't just stick a knife in your gut, but through your heart as well...
Mod edit: Folks, you HAVE to put the attribution link in. You CANNOT just cut and paste an entire article without a link. Doing that can put this website in a heap of trouble. Please help us keep this site open. Thanks...
It might seem like a minor observation, but every interview or photo of Brady I have seen since last week has shown him to look unusually relaxed. I know he's done all this superbowl stuff before and he's probably the coolest cat on the planet right now but I keep coming back to something Sal...
I know the guy is not a Patriots fan, but he almost blew his load last night gushing over the Giants. It was truly a shameful display of Patriots hate. I never had much of a problem with him until this season.
It would be icing on the cake if it was revealed that he and Bob Costas were...
I know what my eyes tell me. But I still had to check it out for myself.
Every Monday morning when I read the paper, it seems like the box scores show the Colts getting called for far fewer penalties than thier opponent.
What I do know about the Colts is that they are a fast...
I've lost count on how many times Moss has been held, grabbed and interfered with tonight.....Would like to see the refs call it.
But Eagles are playing physical...something we have not seen a lot of this year.
I keep replaying it out in my mind and it makes me laugh every time I think about it....
But when Welker caught the nail-in-the-coffin 1st down at the 2 minute warning and jumped up immediately and screamed at Marlon Jackson "YOU Fu**ing SUCK!!!" I mean, I knew he was a tough player, but that...
It has been my observation that BB generally does not loosen up the reigns on offense and defense right out of the gate to start a season.
Our best seasons were all about building momentum and taking that momentum into the playoffs. We have never really peaked before November in our...
I never had a problem with Bob Costas before but after watching that interview, if Costas had his way, then Belechick would be taken out back and executed. He is one big POS that I will never respect again.
