    Day 2 of the Draft

I am split too. I don't think the line is as bad as most, but like everyone says, a good draft for tackles, so.... Also agree with @Sicilian view that if some crazy good defensive players slips cuz of a run on tackles and WRs, take 'em. We're in it for the long haul.

    haha, man, that is cold!

    Breaking: Diggs traded to Texans

ha, I dunno. I guess Buffalo just decided it was time to re-set. I actually think they're right. They got as far as they can with this bunch. Josh is still young, so they can take a few years to re-stock and try again.

    Breaking: Diggs traded to Texans

Damm, that isn't much. Buffalo must really be sick of him.

Interesting perspective on picking a QB with a high draft pick...

Thanks, I found it interesting. Sure, it's easy to pick apart, but still provides a pause. Better really be in love with that top 10 quarterback or trade back and take the haul.

    We’re #31!

A #31 ranking does increase the likelihood that we will exceed expectations. There's that.

Would you be happy if we came out of pick #3 with Maye or Daniels ?

I was thinking about him playing behind a stud line with stud receivers. Not that that is an automatic disqualifier, but kinda reminds me of a certain alabama quarterback, whose name will not be spoken here, that also had a stud line with stud receivers.

Patriots to have long meeting with Jayden Daniels

I understand they are bringing in the pimento loaf sandwiches for this one!

    Curran is the Mouthpiece

Totally agree. I think he said "burning cash" totally off the cuff and it really didn't mean much at all. But it's been analyzed to death. It reminds of this political science course I took back when Russia was the Soviet Union and there was this whole Kremlinology science about who talked...

Drake Maye would be the IDEAL pick for the Patriots at #3

geez .... trade-down looking a bit more attractive.

The Patriots FO needs to avoid appeasing the fans.

Are the Patriots fans as a whole wiser than the rest since we've just witnessed how playing the long game led to the best 20-year run in football history? Or are we just dopes like everyone else?

How about some FAs on defense?

re: justin simmons, do you think they see Dugger as a free safety? Otherwise, it doesn't make sense really to have him and Peppers playing the same position.

REISS: Patriots Exploring Extension With Judon

I'm not questioning the accuracy of your number, but rather admitting I didn't realize how expensive he might be. I'd be willing to bring him back at his original number ... around $14 million per. Might be reasonable given his age?

REISS: Patriots Exploring Extension With Judon

oof, I withdraw my comment on vet leadership being nice if it's at $20 million per season!

REISS: Patriots Exploring Extension With Judon

Need some vet leaders who are bought into the program. Pass rushers seems to be able to last longer, so he can still be productive. Seems like him and barmore should be next.

Deion Sanders Does Not Want His son to go to a Cold Weather Team

ha, ya, I teach college kids. I try to view it as "different" rather than good or bad. I hear you, tho.

Deion Sanders Does Not Want His son to go to a Cold Weather Team

I don't know anything about the Sanders kid, but I would absolutely agree that there is a sense among the "kids" today that quality-of-life factors are super important on where they go or don't go. It's a different world.
