Final Preseason Game Thread (9/3) - NE vs. NYG

Here is my preview of tonight's game https://patriotsall22review.wordpress.com/2015/09/03/what-to-watch-for-in-tonights-matchup-vs-the-giants/#more-149

    Aaron Dobson

LaFell and Edelman are definitely great outside WRs. I just think Dobson gives the WRs a different type of player at WR. Dobson really physically slowed down last season and was evident in the Minnesota game. BB stated he came to camp in great shape and that would help his case. Dobson...

    Aaron Dobson

I I don't really think LaFell is a deep threat his best routes are short to intermediate he is great on comebacks, slants. Pats really didn't send him deep last year. When Dobson goes deep he has a second gear to get really good seperation.

Preseason Game Thread (NE vs. NC): The Countdown to Carolina begins.... (8/28)

Here is my review of the game if anyone is interested https://patriotsall22review.wordpress.com/2015/08/30/patriots-panthers-film-review/

    Aaron Dobson

Brady's second INT should have never been thrown. Sure Dobson slowed down when he saw the safety. But even if he didn't the ball still would have been picked. No way the Pats cut Dobson, he is the only WR who can be a real deep threat. Dobson clearly got separation vs Carolina. Garappolo had...

Preseason Game Thread (NE vs. NC): The Countdown to Carolina begins.... (8/28)

Fleming has really struggled vs the run, no doubt he has been good as a pass blocker

Preseason Game Thread (NE vs. NC): The Countdown to Carolina begins.... (8/28)

I really don't want to see Gronk. No need to give him any more of a workload than he already has. One year off his ACL he could return to being the most valuable non-QB in the league

Preseason Game Thread (NE vs. NC): The Countdown to Carolina begins.... (8/28)

Here is my preview of tonight's game https://patriotsall22review.wordpress.com/2015/08/28/what-to-watch-for-in-tonights-matchup-vs-the-panthers/ I really want to Dobson and Easley to play well. This should be the best preseason game with so many players back from injury.

Greg Bedard on Brady vs Garopollo

My thoughts on Jimmy G: Garoppolo is already better than some starting quarterbacks. With the limited film, Garoppolo has already shown that he is one of the most accurate QBs in the NFL and his other traits should continue to develop. Who would you rather have start now Ryan Tannehill or Jimmy...

Our First String Offense AND Our First String Defense Looked Awful

Keep in mind that are defense was only rushing 4 and not blitzing the LBs. the offense was without Gronk, Edelman and LaFell, the main targets of the offense. Here is my review of the game https://patriotsall22review.wordpress.com/2015/08/24/patriots-saints-film-review/

PRESEASON GAME DAY THREAD (8/22): Patriots vs. Saints

Here is my preview for tonight's game : https://patriotsall22review.wordpress.com/2015/08/22/what-to-watch-for-in-tonights-matchup-vs-the-saints/ I'll be watching Easley really closely

    2015 Draft Prospect Thread

Just started watching draft prospects and I have a couple quick thoughts -Not impressed with Danny Shelton, a big guy who has no explosiveness and gets pushed around way to much, I thought Justin Ellis last yr looked better -Really like Jordan Phillips, explosive, great length -I'm intrigued...

    Thoughts on the Seattle

I also wouldn't expect blitzing from the Patriots, I think they want Wilson to try beat them throwing the ball, let Wilson try to drop back and beat the secondary

    Thoughts on the Seattle

I have watched a good amount of tape on Seattle and here some of my thoughts: -I wouldn't do anything much vs Sherman. Put Amendola out there. Only time id throw at him is if hes in man defending crosser or slant. Hawks play their third corner on the left side when in nickel. I think he can be...

    Patriots Defensive Coverage

I watched Belichick's breakdown of the game and he said that Harmon is playing over the top of smith he also talks about his angle to the ball. http://www.patriots.com/media-center/videos/Belichick-Breakdown-Key-Plays-against-Ravens/42df1ca8-4621-4457-81f0-91e7104c50cc

    Patriots Defensive Coverage

One coverage I have noticed recently is how the Patriots line up vs Empty or on third and longs the Pats tend to bring in Duron Harmon and Tavon Wilson, while moving McCourty down. This allows the Pats to double two WRs while leaving Revis and Devin McCourty in favorable matchups. I first saw...

    Strong Safety

I agree with you I think Ryan could have been what they wanted in Gregory. Here are my thoughts on the Safety position: I think the answer is Logan Ryan, although he isn't super physical he could still excel at SS. McCourty is going to be up top in single high looks (most of the time) leaving...

    Solder and McCourty?

If we can't get a deal done he could be tagged.

    Solder and McCourty?

Byrd is a great FS. I think he is little better against the pass than DMac, he has a little more range as he plays even deeper than McCourty. But DMac is a better tackler, better against the run and an man coverage. Byrd don't have the versatility of DMac. Byrd rarley moves from centerfield...

    Solder and McCourty?

McCourty was only targeted 18 times last year and he only allowed 9 catches. He played the most snaps among the DBs. Watch Dmac on film he is a stud, his range and closing speed is special, many analyists consider him to be the best FS in the game. What games were you watching? This video...
