    2019 Patriots Free Agency

Trent Brown is a MUST resign for me - this offensive line is the biggest strength of the team and we need to keep this unit together as TB ages and to set up the run game for Michel. Team needs: - WR: No real threat along the boundary, limits are offense dramatically - TE: Even if Gronk comes...

    2018 Offensive Line - Cannon/Brown

The trade for Trent Brown seems to be a bit puzzling with Marcus Cannon coming back, unless there is something we don't know about Cannon's injury. We should have a pretty dominant OL going into the season. I see the starting OL like this: Wynn - Thuney - Andrews - Mason - Brown Cannon...

    Official Free Agency 2018

Any chance we could get a guy like Mo Wilkerson on a one-year prove it deal? He will likely be cut by the Jets and could maybe get a one year 8 million dollar deal?

Butler could still go to NO - here's how.

I would say it is more likely that the Patriots told Butler not to sign his tender yet, so as to avoid being discussed in the Cooks trade than your wink wink theory.

Let's Discuss Potential New Targets After First Day of Free Agency

What would you guys think about bringing in Eddie Lacy on a 1 year minimal risk deal? WR FA targets: Michael Floyd, Kamar Aiken, Kendall Wright, Quinton Patton, Terrell Pryor (price might be too high on the last one) LB: I really hope Hightower resigns. Zach Brown, DeAndre Levy, and the rest...

Patscap's 53-man roster projection for the Patriots

53 Man Roster Predicition: QB 2: Garrapolo and Brissett RB 4: Lewis, Blount, Bolden, Foster, White WR: Edelman, Amendola, Hogan, Dobson, Mitchell, Martin TE 4: Gronk, Bennett, Develin, OT 3 Solder, Vollmer, Waddle OG/C 5: Thuney, Stork, Cooper, Andrews, Mason Defense 25: DT 4: Brown...

So far, Bill is doing a great job this offseason. The next step: restructure Danny's contract!

Per spotrac, 4.75 cap hit and 1.06 dead money, so cap savings around 3.6 mil

So far, Bill is doing a great job this offseason. The next step: restructure Danny's contract!

For me it is simple: 1. Cut cannon 2. Restructure amendola 3. Extend both Hightower and Collins 4. Sign Mitchell Schwartz (surprise vollmer cut if this happens), Marvin jones, and a solid vet guard like jahri Evans 5. Target receiver and running back in the draft

#1 Target in the Free Agency [2016 Sign the Beast thread #006]

I think at this stage in their careers Schwartz is far better than both cannon and vollmer. I would start Schwartz and restructure or cut vollmer. Vollmer is an injury prone 32 year old right tackle. Right tackles aren't nearly as expensive as LT. Top of the market RT is approx 6.5 a year...

#1 Target in the Free Agency [2016 Sign the Beast thread #006]

    1. Cut cannon 2. Extend both Hightower and Collins 3. Extend sheard 4. Sign RT Mitchell Schwartz 5. Sign WR Marvin Jones 6. Target running back, linebacker, and developmental offensive line prospects in the draft.

My way too early 2016 team building thread

I think LaFell struggled this season from the foot injury. I don't think he every fully recovered and as you said, his cap hit is very manageable. Dobson needs to have the training camp of his life to stay on this team

My way too early 2016 team building thread

What do we think about RT Mitch Schwartz from Cleveland? I think he would be a great fit/top FA target. Cut Cannon/Restructure Vollmer for depth/swing OT. Schwartz is 26 or 27 and has been very good for Cleveland, do you think we could get him for 4 years 28 million?

Patriots "Actively" looking to trade for Big Bodied WR

Unrealistic target: Marvin Jones The guy I am surprised no one has brought up is Chris Givens with the Rams - he had a big season a few years back, but now is behind guys like Tavon Austin, Quick, Britt, etc. I think he could be had for a 6th rounder and would fill in for LaFell until he is...

    Jason McCourty?

The biggest weakness on this team now is the cornerback position... our starting two right now are Malcolm Butler and Logan Ryan. I have a lot of confidence in Butler, as he did very well in spot duty last season on guys like Emmanuel Sanders and Jermaine Kearse. I think he can be a solid #2...

Patriots sign DL Alan Branch, and release LB Deontae Skinner

Also pretty telling that Belichick could have traded the Bucs for Dane Fletcher instead to get a guy he was familiar with and had experience playing ILB in Belichick's defense.... noteworthy they chose Casillas

Patriots sign DL Alan Branch, and release LB Deontae Skinner

How does he compare in terms of play style/ability to Tommy Kelly. I know they have similar builds
