OT: Does the site run slow for anyone else

The site works great for me. No issues. Everything loads fast.

Would Reggie Bush Fit With the Patriots? (Sign the Beast VII)

I hope the Pats have zero interest in this guy.

    I'm calling it early

I'm thinking that at the end of this game we'll be saying that the Ravens were the Pats' toughest challenge for the Super Bowl. I think the Ravens would beat the Seahawks. Hope I am correct.

    NFL Network unwatchable

I cannot watch any of the pregame nonsense and have not done so since cameragate. It's all so contrived for ratings and internet clicks. I'm convinced that a lot of what the talking heads say is some what scripted and produced. No way the talking head former players are not told to pick sides...

    NFL Division Round Playoff games

Ravens would have beat either Broncos or Colts.

Tanguay: Brady has no chance at a Super Bowl without Revis

Wait, how many Super Bowls has Revis won? How many Super Bowls has TB won without Revis? Look, I love having Revis on the Pats and truly hope the Pats have a great defense this coming season but that article is nonsense.

ESPN SAM MONSON: Tom Brady is no longer a top-5 QB

You want to get clicks on the internet as a sports writer? You write articles like the one referenced above. Negative opinions stir controversy and clicks. Attacking those at the top of their field is par for the course for a lot of the media, unfortunately.

    2014 NFL Draft, Day 3: Rounds 4 - 7 thread

Good pick at a need position. Stork won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center and also earned First Team All-ACC honors as picked by the league's coaches as well as the media. Like his size and smarts.

I deleted the ___ is available threads

I like the way this website is moderated. Some other NFL team forums have so many threads it's like you have to be an investigative journalist just to find the good threads among the bad. It is what it is.

Patriots going back to the "Traditional" 4-3???

I like the idea of Dennard or Ryan over Arrington as well. Ryan showed some skills last season so I'm looking forward to seeing how he develops. On a side note, one thing I like about Browner and Revis besides coverage skills is they are not afraid to tackle, i.e., good against the run.

Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've played

Re: Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've pl I stopped watching Countdown many years ago. It's just too much fluff and not much football. Reminds me of TMZ and that kinda sheet drives me crazy. Too bad really because I used to enjoy those shows...

Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've played

Re: Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've pl Great point JMT57. I agree that if this is true, it may have come from Spike's agent.

Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've played

Re: Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've pl You gotta wonder whether this is true or not, seeing that the Pats are crazy about keeping things secret. One thing I know for sure is that Spikes clearly has some serious knee injury because his knee buckled...

REPORT: Patriots Add WR Austin Collie

Re: Austin Collie signed That's the first thing I thought when I heard about the Collie signing and it's very true. Manning kills receivers.

    Patriots + Gronkowski = Divided

Ditto. But wait, its from the Herald so it must be true, right? I mean the Herald would never write a false story based on "sources" ... (sarcasm ... cough ... John Tomase) ;)

Jeff Demps and a 7th round pick traded to Bucs for RB LeGarrette Blount

6 fumbles in 426 NFL carries so he fumbles .014 of the time. Not an issue it seems. LeGarrette Blount Stats - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - ESPN Good trade.

Jeff Demps and a 7th round pick traded to Bucs for RB LeGarrette Blount

I like the trade. His contract is not guaranteed. If he makes the team and gets playing time, I agree with what's been said above that he could be perfect for killing clock in the 4th quarter.

So much for the home town discount

Happy to move on from Welker. Welker overestimated his market value. His mistake. Pats offered him market rate, Welker choose to move on and did not get the money he thought that he was worth. It is what it is - business. Employers should always pay market rate or less for employees...

Seattle to go to the SB IMO.They are a wagon right now.

I like the Falcons to beat Seattle. The Falcons are the better team IMO. I assume the Seahawks flew back to Seattle yesterday (not sure) and they have to fly out to Atlanta for a 1pm Sunday game on east coast time. That may have some affect on how well the Seahawks play. Regardless, I like...
