Yeah he's not near athletic enough to cover anyone in the NFL, but he's not bad against the downhill running game. He may actually be better against NFL style running games than having to move side to side against spread college offenses. He's smart and a pretty good tackler.

Drew Morgan is a guy I could see the Patriots liking. Won't go all that high because of his size (6'0, 194) but was 2nd in the SEC in receiving TDs behind Treadwell last year.
This will only be Derby's second year of playing TE. He had a play last year where he outran the Alabama defense that was really impressive. Was a very solid #2 TE for a guy still learning the position.
I know some on here wanted him during the draft. Well after working so hard to come back from his injury in 2010, he landed awkwardly at practice today and was carted off screaming. ESPN says he tore the ACL and MCL in BOTH knees...his career could be over before his first preseason game. Could...
Going to plug another arkansas player :p
The pats dont really need another RB, but if kick returns don't improve Dennis Johnson is the active SEC kick return leader...reminds me of MJD (5'7, 210) but has a fumble problem. Should be a UDFA unless he has a huge year.
Arkansas Kickoff...
See they have Byran Jones listed but i don't think he's even Arkansas' best DT. I think DeQuinta Jones is but they arent the only one i've seen that feels that way so maybe im wrong.
Yeah he never looks like he's running that fast but he still outruns people. And he has HUGE hands. Im not sure if i'd put him on pre-injury Greg Childs level as a prospect but he has the tools

I like these guys ;)
Tyler Wilson
6'3, 220...1st team all-SEC in his first year as a starter. Average arm but very accurate and one of the most poised college QBs ive ever seen.

Havent read through the whole thread, but jake was a good leader on defense for us...and he is a really smart player. He was going to law school if the NFL didnt come calling lol. He's a hard worker and will give great effort on every play
Re: Tramain Thomas
Heres what nfldraftscout has to say...he was inconsistent this past year but i think he can be a good UDFA

Ryan Mallett under pressure « Seahawks Draft Blog
this also might be the most impressive throw ive seen him make while avoiding pressure: Razorbacks vs. Gators - 2009 - YouTube
Im not going to say that mallett is michael vick or anything but his pocket presence really isnt THAT bad. He was sacked the same amount of times as cam newton his last year. Now when the pressure gets there he's a sitting duck but he isn't completely immobile...heres a nice piece about it in my...
Im waiting for some team to draft both wright and childs...would be funny for them to be on the same high school, college, and NFL teams.
I know adams is small but if anyone questions his toughness the guy came back from a stroke his sophomore year lol
ive seen worse...
" Fortunately for Childs, he showed up as an effective playmaker in the last game of his career, the BCS National Championship Game, which could show teams he is capable of being the player he was early on at Arkansas."
"He is not explosive and struggles to separate from...
Yeah i almost wish we could have redshirted him. We had a player a few years ago named marcus monk who had a similar injury and he was never the same...was cut by the bears after preseason.
A lot of people had childs as the #2 WR in the SEC behind alshon jeffrey after his junior year...he's a...
actually it was today...results are on arkansasrazorbacks.com...i cant link yet though
It says greg childs ran a 4.41 with a 40.5 vertical
