They are spending short term money and I can deal with that the Sox will be in the bottom but it's the Jays turn to screw with the Yankees.
Jays
Yanks
Rays
O's
Sox
Good-God this guy sucks-dell
Bettman
Stern
Selig
They ALL suck, but they rep the owners which means the owners for the league suck just as bad.
Bettman has to rep a group of idiots hell bent on choking the golden goose to death
Goodell, you know.
Stern is corrupt as hell...
From what I got Talib dropped the average Passing yards allowed by 40 yards a game.
Edit:
Before Talib: 285.3
After Talib: 253.5
Before Talib: 1.11 Interceptions per game
After Talib: 1.25 interceptions per game (Very small sample size)
*sigh* hearing the rumors I'm thinking of leasing a 5 yr spot on the Blue Jays bandwagon.
a) The Sox are not doing it right
b) The Jays look scary good.
I'm not a big fan of the point extra. It is point less (No pun intended). I would rather see Singles (Rouges) in the NFL. It gives the Punter added value and will force more kick returns from the end zone.
Anything that pulls the team passing defense out of the bottom half of the league.
CB: Talib
CB: Dennard (This guy had a 1st rd. ranking till off-field problems)
S: McCourty
S: Chung/Gregory/Wilson (Whoever works)
To me, this seems more like a message this will be a 2 years re-build. Who cares if Ortiz is back? This team is re-building for the next two years bring in a pink hat favorite and keep selling tickets.
First, sign Ross and Ortiz and promise a 2 yr. rebuild.
second, Left handed 1b. Swisher is on the market but I would rather have a short term solution for the next FA market.
Statistically the Red Sox were 8th in the league in runs, but 22nd in OBP.
27th in ERA, 23rd in WHIP.

Listened to a LOT of Jays games and the reason for this year's struggles was the health of the pitching staff. The Jays were losing starters left and right, they had to go down to Single A to pick up pitchers. The health of the team was horrible. Joey bats was hurt a lot, the pitching staff was...
During the game he always seemed to be there to defend. Always on his receiver. I think this is a rare find who may just become a valuable member of a starting rotation.
A neutron bomb, build a new stadium, turn Fenway into the new 'New England Sports Museum'. Hire a young manager with passion to enstill that passion in the players and then develop and build.
