    Question

If you are using 1970-1979, eight of those years were played with 14 games seasons. The league went to 16 games in 1978. Had the Cowboys had 16 extra regular season games during that time, they reasonably could have had 10-12 more wins. Regardless, you are talking about some great teams.

The more you think about it and see photos, it was a dirty hit..

What part of "unrestricted path" do you not understand?

    Was Eli in the grasp?

There are 2-5 bad or missed calls everygame, but to even think there was a fix in is ridiculous. If you think that, then you have just lumped yourself in with the whiny fans of the Seahags in Seattle.

    Remarks from Redskin Nation

Cowboy fans can still claim 3 SB's in 4 years and didn't want the Pats to get 4 this decade. Giants were the lesser of 2 evils to them.

Bradshaw knocks NFL: "not a good product"

With free agency, teams don't stay together as long. Player movement every year affects team consistancy IMO. Salary cap causes teams to get rid of a player after 3-5 years and replace them with a untested player through the draft or free agent. More inconsistancy. The best teams are...

Jones and Kraft, Romo and Bledsoe: Anatomy of a franchise

"America's Team" was Tex Schramm's doing back in the 70's, but J Jones has taken marketing to a higher level. Schramm stayed on for a couple years when Jones bought the team, and Jones got all he could from Tex and then got rid of him. No doubt though, the NFL is big business, and it takes a...

    Is Favre Really All That?

I was at the game last night and Dal got pressure on Favre and it doesn't look like he can move like he could when he was younger. Rodgers has good mobility and really played well. As far as R. Williams, Dallas got him off the field when GB went with 4-5 wideouts. A couple times, they...

Concepts some posters could benefit from learning

The outcome of any single game determines only the best team between those 2 teams on that day. For example, let's say that the AFC has the 5 best teams in the league. Let's say that by some fluke, Dallas wins the NFC, and then beats Pitt in the Super Bowl, does that mean Dallas is better...

WOW. Colts have a RALLY before game

Admit it, you never made it to high school.

Official List of Historical Teams that 'Ran Up the Score' without Media Whining

I don't care one way or the other about running up the score on the Pro level. Pop Warner is a different animal though and even up to High school. I don't think that SB's should matter. One team gets on a roll in an ultimate game and forces the other to try to play catch up, and do things...

What do these players have in common?

Perhaps you need to check his attendance at school, lol.

What do these players have in common?

Space, get your son to help you with spelling. Randall Gay has played in over 30 games for us in the past 4 seasons. At least get his name right.

Texas Stadium - Is it "safe" for Pats gear?

Really have a hard time believing this is a long time Cowboy fan if he can't even spell STAUBACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OT: How the hell did Gale Sayers get into the Hall of Fame?

Re: OT How the hell did Gale Sayers get into the hall of fame? It's a shame he could never stay healthy, but Bo Jackson was a helluva back. 5.4 yards per carry. In 3 different years, a 88 yd run, 91 yd TD, 92 yd TD. http://www.nfl.com/players/bojackson/profile?id=JAC631960

Roger Goodell is Dead Wrong, and Here's Why

How do you know they didn't cheat? Goddell could have said it had no impact because the Jets suck so bad they would lose to anybody by double digits. What is so stupid about this is being told not to do it last year, and deciding to go ahead and do it anyway. I have a teenage son that...

Roger Goodell is Dead Wrong, and Here's Why

So does that leave open the possibility that BB considers halftime to be a time when the game is "NOT" in progress. And if they used the tapes for future games, what was the purpose of taping the Green Bay game last year, a team they play about every 6-7 years? The rule states very...
