Gronk: The Nutcracker Dude and Spin Gifs....

There is a very good chance that Ryan Wendell might have Asperger's.

Hardly anybody in the media is talking about the Dolphins

They did a great job with the Brandon Marshall trade. Guy is an idiot and they had so many holes that needed filling. Reggie Bush, Richard Marshall, Karlos Dansby etc. Front office has been plugging some holes these last few years.

The Front Office killed it this Off-Season

The only position that the Pats clearly suck at drafting is WR. They do a pretty good job with DBs overall in my opinion.

Skip Bayless says Patriots are best team in the AFC

The best team is the team with the best record. This isn't rocket surgery Bayless.

Who the hell Boos their own team in a key 4th quarter moment?

I was booed a few times playing soccer in college and it still kinda hurts. I get embarrassed now even 20 years later when I think about it. I guess I deserved it. I don't know. Damn it. I don't remember what I did now. I think I shanked a penalty kick. I am biased against booing.

The Official B!tch about the secondary/pass coverage thread

Gay, Sanders, Meriweather, Wilson and Hobbs have all proven that they can play in the NFL. I would argue that Sanders had a nice year last year. Hobbs was good in Philly before injuries took him out. Same for Wilson. Same for Gay. I thought Wheatley was still playing. Mea...

The Official B!tch about the secondary/pass coverage thread

Re: Fire the DB coach: Chris Canty was the only high draft pick at the position (that I can recall) that was a bust and that was a Petey Pick. Unless you count Wheatley and Wilhite but they both went on to play for other teams. Chung is waaay too early to call but I think he's far from a...

The Official B!tch about the secondary/pass coverage thread

Ellis Hobbs, Asante Samuel, Eugene Wilson, Randall Gay, Darius Butler, Brandon Meriweather, James Sanders, Terrence Wheatley all went on to play for other teams with mostly good results. The Pats can't draft receivers but they do ok with their DBs. The regression appears to be a...

    Intentional Grounding Rule

I was referring to the fact that sometimes a QB intends to get the ball to a receiver but it sails on him, his grip slips, hits a pigeon, etc. A ref should not be able to say "hmmm, that looks suspicious. FLAG". It's all based on speculation and besides, you lose the down anyway so it's not...

    Intentional Grounding Rule

I have always hated intentional grounding as a rule. A QB should be allowed to throw it away whenever he wants. Judgement calls as to what the QB's intent was on any given play have no place in football. The loss of down is punishment enough.

Here is the GIF for the MNF controversial TD

Well, to be fair to the 'refs', you will never ever see a PI on a Hail Mary called. Never happens. Not even with the 'good' refs and I use that term loosely too.

Here is the GIF for the MNF controversial TD

I have no idea how that is not an INT. I simply cannot fathom it. Feel bad for Packers fans right now.

NFL Films' Steve Sabol, 69, dies of brain cancer

Re: Steve Sabol passes My experience as well. NFL films were a big deal growing up in the 70s and 80s. RIP Mr. Sabol.

Whom do we want to win: Week 2

100% agreement from me. Well thought-out and expressed Mr. Pissah.

    Famous Pats Fans

Looks like most of the big ones were covered already. I can only add (from personal experience) that Jay Leno, a native of Mass (Andover?) is NOT a fan and don't even try to talk to him about Boston sports because he doesn't care and will let you know that fact pretty quickly. He only...

Patsfan Survey: When Did YOU Become a Patriots Fan?

Ditto. Born in 73 in western mass to a rabid Pats/Bruins family. Red Sox were an afterthought in my family. I can actually pinpoint the day I became obsessed with the Pats: Feb 10, 1978. That's when I got a Patriots-branded bike from Sears for my 5th birthday.

Kiper: Patriots Reached on Day Two

I am not sure that Kiper could do a worse job than BB when it comes to drafting DBs. BB has the edge at every other position though!:p
  18. rojo8401

Do you think Kiper knows what the coaches know?

The older I get the more convinced I am that nobody knows anything. It's all a big effing charade. Except Chomsky. That dude has stuff figured out pretty much.

The Official NFL Draft Day 2 thread

    1. Rams 2. Minnesota 3. Pats The Browns reeked of desperation.
