Let's just Come out and say it, nobody has any faith in a white running back. I ho.estly believe that is a problem with alot of people. Some are going crazy over Demps, when he has Nothing on Woodhead. Where is the logic there? If Vereen doesn't have brains, what is there to gain?
Reading this thread has been interesting. ALOT of people just loved Woodhead, some seem to be somewhat jovial that he is gone, and some seem to be somewhat indifferent if he is here or not. Some people indicate he was not the better athlete, there are other guys who have more power, more speed...
Totally agree with your statement. I'm in Omaha, 50 miles from Lincoln, and this was the first time I've ever heard of Dennard being in trouble while at college. Believe me, the Huskers are the only thing we have around here, so when something happens it makes the news quickly.
Provided Dennard doesn't get lengthy jail time, this is a major steal of a draft pick. I don't think he was a real trouble maker, he just did a really stupid thing at the worst possible time in his life. Other than that, you never heard of any problems around here in the media.
Re: Skip Bayless says he's 'suspicious" about scoreboard mistake
My first thought when I saw Skip's name was, Who cares? It's Skip "Tebow" Bayless for crying out loud!
What I liked best about the play was at the end. Cromartie was there to make the tackle on BJGE, but he acted like he didn't want to touch him, kind of like he looked at his teammate and said I'm out.
I don't think he over reacted. If anything, I hope his reaction lights a fire under Chad's butt and he gets his act together. Some people say "give him a break, he hasn't had much time to learn the Pats difficult system", ok fine, but Woodhead didn't seem to have any problem learning it in a week.
